MyVibe is the mood-based way to play Apple Music. Tap how you feel; hear the right vibe.
Ten moods to choose from: happy, hyped, focused, motivated, relaxed, romantic, worshipful, anxious, sad, and sleepy; each tied to hand-picked Apple Music playlists.
VibeSense lets you type or speak how you're feeling, and an on-device AI picks the mood for you. It runs entirely on your iPhone (requires Apple Intelligence on iOS 26 or later).
Calm Mode is a guided breathing session with soft music underneath. Choose 2, 5, 7, or 10 minutes. With your permission, completed sessions are saved to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. MyVibe never reads your health data.
Parental controls let you lock the explicit-content toggle behind a 4-digit PIN, with Face ID / Touch ID unlock and a one-time recovery code. Family-friendly by default.
Today's Vibe widget pins your day's top mood to the Home Screen.
Smarter suggestions surface a curated pick for right now (time of day plus saved places) from the wand in the header.
Audio resumes automatically after phone calls and Siri. No more tapping play again.

A Hide Explicit Songs toggle keeps playback clean. Heavy moods like Hype blend a clean-content playlist so the filter actually works.
Custom playlists per mood let you paste any Apple Music link to override the default.
Daily vibe insights show which moods you reach for and when.
REQUIRES APPLE MUSIC
MyVibe plays catalog content through Apple Music via MusicKit. An active Apple Music subscription is required. Some features (VibeSense) require an Apple Intelligence-capable device on iOS 26 or later.
PRIVACY
MyVibe doesn't track you, doesn't show ads, and doesn't sell or share your data. Mood history stays on your device. Apple Health writes are opt-in and write-only. Location is used only to surface place-based mood suggestions you've saved.
Genre Preference
For a fresh install, select Apple Music during onboarding. Choose a genre—or leave it on “Any”—then tap a few moods and make sure the music matches your choice.
For existing installs, go to Settings → Music. Change the genre, test a few moods, then switch back to “Any” and confirm normal playback.
Heart Button
Tap the heart in Now Playing and test both options:
"Play More Like This" plays similar music.
"Add to Library" should save the song and show a confirmation.
The heart should turn pink and reset when the song changes.
Thumbs Down
Tap thumbs down. It should turn yellow, skip the song, and reset on the next track.
Faster Playback
After opening the app fresh, tap a mood and confirm music starts faster than before.
Settings
Make sure Settings loads cleanly. If Parental Lock is enabled, confirm that PIN management is now under Content.
What’s New
After updating, the What’s New screen should appear once, show version 1.5.4, and dismiss cleanly.
