Peckish: What to Eat
Decide tonight's meal, fast
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
End the "what should we eat?" loop. Tap a photo of a real restaurant near you, take on Today's Quest, and collect the places you've been in your Food Log.
"What should we eat tonight?" — the most everyday question, and the hardest to answer.
Peckish ends the debate the fun way. Open the app and photos of real restaurants near you are ready. Just tap the one that clicks.
■ See the photos, tap to decide
Four nearby spots, side by side, with ratings and price ranges. Looking is the fastest way to choose. Want different options? One tap.
■ A new "Today's Quest" every day
"A spot within a 5-min walk." "A local favorite." "A hidden gem." "Today is Noodle day." One small quest a day, and the spots that fit get marked — a fun nudge when you can't decide.
■ Your Food Log
After you eat, tap "I went!" and the place goes into your Food Log. Earn badges for places visited, genres tried and quests cleared.
■ Real restaurants nearby
Suggestions come from Google Places restaurant data, so the place you pick actually exists. Decide, then head straight there.
■ Gets to know your taste
No genre picking needed. Peckish learns from the places you choose and visit, and "Your taste" in the Food Log shows your favorite genres and titles.
■ Perfect for
• Anyone worn out by the daily "what should we eat?"
• People who freeze when there are too many choices
• Anyone stuck going to the same few places
• Couples and friends stuck on "where should we go?"
Turn indecision into anticipation.
Tonight's meal, decided with Peckish.
