The look and sound pass — plus Game Center. GAME CENTER • Leaderboards for your best kills in a PvP match and your best PvE wave. • Achievements report as you earn them, across PvP, PvE and Conquest. • Signs in at launch; the GAME CENTER button in Settings opens the overlay. THE ARENA • Space has depth. Planets, a sun, distant galaxies and nebulae now appear in every mode, over a graded, drifting starfield instead of flat black. • Ships are lit craft — a shaded hull, panel seams, a cockpit, wingtip nav lights and a hot engine slot. • Thrusters are real flames with a white-hot throat, not a chain of dots. • You can see your shots. Brighter, larger rounds with a coloured streak along their heading, so you can find your fire in a busy frame. • Kills land: a brief freeze, a camera punch, a shake that comes from the direction of the damage, and knockback when you take a hit. THE HUD • The pilot panel is a drawn instrument — a level badge, a hull meter that eases and flashes on damage, an XP meter that creeps. • Secondary stats moved into a drawer that appears when something changes, so the panel stays quiet while you fly. • The radar is a proper scope, and colour means something now: chrome for labels, amber for time, red for damage. • On a phone the HUD gets out of the way, and the touch controls have hit areas that match where they're drawn. SOUND • Flying makes a sound — a continuous engine bed that tracks your throttle and speed. • Every effect was resynthesized with a real transient, body and low end, running through one mix with reverb and compression. Repeated shots vary instead of machine-gunning the same tone. • Kills have their own confirm, and the big moments duck the mix so they land. MENUS • The home screen is one composition, with illustrated art per mode and your own ship flying on it. • The Ship Editor is a real collection screen — every cosmetic previewed as artwork with a rarity tier and a progress bar toward unlocking it. • You can start a match immediately; the callsign field is a rename, not a gate. FIXES • Fixed a pointer bug that mis-mapped every tap after a rotation or resize. • The pilot panel and radar no longer fade out while you're flying. • Cleared the notch, and Game Center sign-in no longer gets stuck. • Support, Privacy, Terms and Contact are reachable from the home screen and from Settings.
