When you last met. What you talked about. Their kids' names. The birthday you keep almost missing. Plait holds the things you swore you'd remember, and offers a quiet nudge before too long has passed.
It does this without asking for anything it doesn't need.
WHAT PLAIT DOES
Keep the people who matter
Add someone in a few seconds, or bring them over from Contacts one at a time. Their page holds how you met, where they are, and the birthday you'd rather not miss.
Note a moment
Met someone? One tap, a short note, done. Plait reads the note on your device and suggests what it was about — Kyoto trip, new job, the marathon — so next time you have somewhere to start. The suggestions are always marked as suggestions, and you can remove any of them.
A nudge, not a nag
After you note a moment, Plait can offer to remind you in a month, or three, or six. When the day comes it sends one quiet notification. Nothing before it, nothing repeated, no badge on the icon.
See your months
The Timeline gathers every moment with everyone, newest first. No streaks. No scores. No line telling you it's been a while. A quiet month is just a quiet month.
On your home screen
A small widget shows who you meant to reach out to this week. When nobody's waiting, it simply says "All quiet."
WHAT PLAIT DOESN'T DO
No LinkedIn. No Gmail. No Facebook. Not in the next version, not ever — an app about your people shouldn't be mining them.
No scanning your address book. Plait uses Apple's own contact picker, which runs outside the app and hands back only the person you chose. Plait never asks for permission to read your contacts, because it has no way to.
No accounts. No servers. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, because there is nowhere to upload it to. Your people live on your iPhone and sync through your own iCloud.
No subscription. No ads. No tracking. No analytics of any kind.
FREE AND PRO
The free version keeps 15 people, 30 moments and 5 reminders — with iCloud sync included, because privacy shouldn't sit behind a paywall.
Plait Pro is $12.99, once, and lifts every limit for good. Not a subscription, not a trial that becomes a bill. It includes Family Sharing for up to six people.
Export is free either way. Take everything with you as a vCard or CSV, anytime. An app you can leave is an app you can trust.
