Give A Chit keeps track of whose turn it is. Every group has something that goes around — hosting the next dinner, choosing the book, bringing snacks to practice, rotating chore responsibility or even which lawnmower battery to use next. Give A Chit keeps track of whose turn it is (who/what holds the “chit”) so no one has to remember, argue, or keep a list on the fridge. Your list can be private or shared with others. If you do want to share the list with others, Give A Chit syncs your groups and shares turn-taking through your own iCloud account, so you'll need to be signed into iCloud to create and share groups. HOW IT WORKS Create a group, add members to the group and keep track of who/what goes next. When you are done, pass the chit to the next person/item in the rotation. Shared groups allow members with iPhones to see who holds the chit now and who’s up next. +Those without an iPhone can still take part: a leader passes the chit for them, and they can be notified by text that the next turn is theirs. I go out with different friends on a mostly regular basis. To make life easier we simply rotate on who picks up the check. The issue was how do I remember whose turn it is? We used to use a chit (a small piece of paper with the names of the participants on it) and passed the chit around to the next person for the next outing. Unfortunately people were losing the chit, the dog ate it, forgetting to pass it around, and a variety of other issues. This app came to the rescue. It allows every member of the group to see who ‘has the chit’ and to pass it to the next person on the list by a single push of a button in the app. It also maintains a shared log of who/when passed the chit.This app really does what it set out to do and it does it perfectly.I’m very pleased with it.I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a recurring activity with friends or colleagues where responsibility is rotated through the group at each get-together.
