SpeechSeed is calm, parent-led speech-sound practice for the time between appointments. It gives families a clear routine without pretending a phone can diagnose a speech disorder or replace a speech-language pathologist.
PRACTICE WITH DEPTH
• 22 speech sounds and 861 practice words with picture cues.
• A six-step ladder: sound, syllable, word, phrase, sentence and conversation carryover.
• A sound-specific mirror clue helps the grown-up show where to look or listen.

LISTENING THAT STAYS HONEST
• At word level and above, Apple's on-device recognition checks which practice word it heard.
• At sound and syllable level — or whenever recognition is unsure — the nearby grown-up chooses Try again, Almost or Got it.
• Silence is never counted as a correct attempt, and SpeechSeed never claims to score an individual speech sound like an SLP.
PROGRESS YOU CAN SHARE
• Weekly practice summaries show days, sessions and parent-reviewed outcomes.
• SpeechSeed keeps at most one clear or grown-up-confirmed clip locally per session. Play, compare or delete it at any time.
• Export a clean PDF or text summary to discuss with a speech-language pathologist.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Listening uses Apple's on-device mode. The single clear or grown-up-confirmed clip kept from a session stays on the device and is never uploaded. SpeechSeed has no account, advertising or analytics, and its App Privacy label is Data Not Collected.

The practice loop now flows on its own: when a grown-up scores a try (Try again, Almost or Got it), their call appears for a moment and the session moves forward by itself — in practice sessions and the onboarding listen check alike.
Also in this update: the Premium card now shows the real App Store price with a clear Upgrade button, the free plan's one-sound-per-30-days rule is applied honestly with the change date always visible, and the 2-minute self-check now shows your progress and brings the summary to you when all seven answers are in.
