WBTRK is a chiptune music tracker for iPhone — a sequencer where you build songs as text in a grid, inspired by LSDJ and the Dirtywave M8. Phrases stack into chains, chains line up across six channels, and the whole thing plays back through a synth engine that lives entirely on your phone. No account. No subscription. No internet required. Your music never leaves your device. If you've never used a tracker, it's one of the fastest ways to write electronic music ever made — and WBTRK is built from the ground up for touch, with on-screen steppers and big tap targets instead of tiny knobs. — WHAT'S INSIDE — - Ten synth engines — PULSE, SAW, TRI, FM, NOISE, PAD, SUB, PLUCK, a wavetable engine, and MODX, a two-oscillator synth with four assignable LFOs. - 26 effects, two per step — filters, delay, reverb, bitcrush, distortion, arpeggio, slides, vibrato, tremolo, panning, ring mod, wavefold, and more. Plus two special ones: RANDOM rolls fresh dice on every note to humanise a pattern, and TEMPO shifts a single channel's speed independently of the rest. - A six-channel mixer — per-channel volume to 150%, mute, solo, and pan. Balance the whole song while it plays. - Per-channel song loops — drop STP and JMP markers to loop one channel on its own while the others play straight through. Polymeter, made simple. - Tables — per-instrument step sequences that re-pitch, re-shape, and re-effect every note as it plays. Instant arpeggios, per-row dynamics, and an FX lane. - Up to four-note chords per step, across six channels. - 26 themes and a full colour-by-colour theme editor. — BUILT FOR TOUCH — Three gestures do everything: tap to move, double-tap to place or clear a value, and long-press for a picker with every option. Every page has its own help button. The app opens with a demo song, so you can hear it working before you write a note. — YOURS, OFFLINE — WBTRK auto-saves on your device and reopens exactly where you left off. Export songs as .wbtrk files to back up or move between devices, or render a whole song to a .wav you can share anywhere — all through the normal iOS share sheet. It works in airplane mode.
