Clear the Wreckage AA 4th Step

12-Step Recovery Companion

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

All 5 inventories. On-device guide, no internet needed. Enter your name once, export your work as a PDF, and bring it to your sponsor. Built for recovery, by recovery. Clear the Wreckage is a 12-step recovery companion built for people who are serious about doing the work. Whether you're on Step 4 or maintaining a daily Step 10, this app gives you a structured, private space to work your written inventory — guided by a calm, sponsor-voiced assistant that walks you through it one question at a time, the way it's meant to be done. —————————————————————————————————————— THE INVENTORY GUIDE —————————————————————————————————————— Working a written inventory is one of the most powerful — and most avoided — parts of recovery. Most people put it off because they don't know where to start, or they start and lose momentum. Clear the Wreckage gives you a guided chat experience for all five inventory types: • Resentments (Step 4) — Who do you resent? What did they do? What part of your life does it affect? • Fears (Step 4) — What are you afraid of? Why? How does it show up in your life? • Sex Conduct (Step 4) — Where were you selfish, dishonest, or inconsiderate? What drove your behavior? • Harm Done (Step 8) — Who did you harm? What did you do? How were they affected? • Daily Inventory (Step 10) — A nightly check-in to catch resentments, fears, and wrongs before they pile up. Each session feels like sitting across from someone who gets it. Responses are warm, direct, and in plain language — no clinical tone, no judgment, no fluff. —————————————————————————————————————— MY PART — WORKED WITH YOUR SPONSOR —————————————————————————————————————— The "My Part" column is one of the most important — and most misunderstood — parts of a Step 4 or Step 8 inventory. People new to recovery often can't see their part yet. That's normal. That's why we have sponsors. In Clear the Wreckage, the My Part column is intentionally left blank in your exported PDF. That column is meant to be worked face-to-face with your sponsor during Step 5 or Step 9 — not figured out alone on a phone screen. The app respects that boundary. —————————————————————————————————————— PDF EXPORT —————————————————————————————————————— When you're finished with an inventory, export it as a clean, professionally formatted PDF. Bring it to your sponsor. Keep it for yourself. Print it out. Share it however works best for you. Your work doesn't disappear when you close the app — sessions are saved automatically so you can pick up right where you left off. —————————————————————————————————————— WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE —————————————————————————————————————— No internet connection required. The entire inventory guide runs on-device. Your data stays on your phone. Nothing is sent to a server. Nothing is stored in the cloud. Recovery is personal. This app treats it that way. —————————————————————————————————————— REFERENCES —————————————————————————————————————— Quick access to Big Book passages and recovery literature to support your step work — right inside the app, available anytime. —————————————————————————————————————— BUILT BY SOMEONE IN RECOVERY —————————————————————————————————————— This app wasn't built by a wellness startup. It was built by someone who has sat in the rooms, worked the steps, and knows what it actually feels like to stare at a blank piece of paper and not know where to start. Clear the Wreckage exists because the work matters — and anything that helps someone get through it is worth building. If you're in recovery and you're ready to do your inventory, this app will walk with you. One question at a time.

• Enter your name once — it carries through all inventory sections automatically. • Fixed: typing "my name is John" now correctly saves John, not "my". • Previous messages stay static when scrolling back through the chat. • Keyboard dismisses after sending a message so you can see the response. • Cleaned up the welcome screen in Resentments.
