Foyer turns ambient sound into a place. On a true-black canvas you are a still point of light at the center. Each sound is a luminous orb you place around yourself: a crackling hearth, rain, a stream, a forest, wind chimes, a distant city. The closer a sound sits to you, the louder it gets, and sliding it left or right pans it around you. Everything is rendered in true binaural, so put headphones on and you are sitting inside the room. Features: - Place sounds on a spatial canvas and drag them where they feel right - Mix by ear: closer is louder, left and right set the panning - True binaural rendering with HRTF, best with headphones - Save rooms and switch between them, each one a different mood - Control playback from your menu bar, so no window gets in the way Foyer is calm and quiet, and it runs entirely on your Mac. Your rooms stay on your machine. There are no accounts, no ads, and nothing is tracked or collected. It is free to start, with up to three sounds playing at once. One purchase unlocks the full sound library, the timer and head tracking. It is yours to keep, with no subscription and no account.

Foyer now lives in your menu bar. The notch presence is gone — a single menu-bar orb plays, pauses and switches rooms, and lights up while a room is playing. Lighter and quieter, with the same spatial sound.
