This update fixes bugs found in a full review of the app. • Your free trial reminder now arrives two days before billing, every time. • Tempo sound comes back on its own after a phone call, Siri, or connecting AirPods. • The Lock Screen play and pause button works in Pace of Play and routines. • Practice streaks no longer reset when you travel to another time zone. • Swing video frame stepping is exact on slow motion clips. • Clearer purchase messages, better large text and VoiceOver support, and many small fixes.

Two fixes. - The subscription screen could flash an old price for a moment before the real one loaded. It now waits and shows only the price you will actually be charged. - The Routines tab titled itself "My Swings" once you had a routine saved. It says "My Routines" now.

Fixes for two things that were quietly annoying. - The filter on My Swings opened one of your swings instead of the filter menu. A thumbnail was sitting invisibly over the button. It opens the menu now. - The bar at the top of the screen was washing out the Elite Tempo wordmark. The wordmark is legible again. - Removed some diagnostic logging that shipped by mistake and was making taps feel slow.

A new look, and the biggest update since launch. Elite Tempo has been rebuilt around one accent colour, so the thing you should tap is always the brightest thing on the screen. New app icon to match. WHAT IS NEW - Pre-shot routine practice is now a real instrument: run your routine against a live clock with audible marks, the same way the pace of play timer works. - The pace of play shot clock gets its own volume, separate from the tempo cues. - Get started cards on the home screen replace the old checklist. - Full support for accessibility text sizes. WHAT IS FIXED - Tapping the filter on My Swings opened one of your swings instead of the filter menu. It opens the menu now. - The background music bed never played in cue mode. It does now. - The pace of play ring was nearly invisible against the background. - Stop now leaves the session on every timing screen, instead of stranding you there. - Videos no longer show black bars around the frame. - A benefit on the subscription screen looked greyed out, as though it were not included. It always was. Every screen was checked against measured contrast rather than eyeballed, so text, rings and controls are legible in daylight on the range.

Fresh App Store screenshots, showing the app as it looks today. Nothing has changed inside the app in this version.

A rebuilt first run. Elite Tempo now opens with a note on why it exists: every other tempo app hands you a beats per minute or a fraction and leaves you guessing which one is yours. This one measures the swings you already hit well. New in the walkthrough: - The 4 metrics we track, shown on Tiger's 2000 driver: backswing, downswing, total duration, and your tempo ratio. - A guided tutorial where you mark up a real swing in three taps, on the same screen you will use for your own. - What other golfers have said. Elsewhere: - My Swings is now the first thing you see. - Playing a tour tempo counts toward your streak and session time. - Marking a swing is now always by hand, so a saved number is a number you placed.

Two fixes in this update. If you close the app on the offer screen, you now come straight back to your tempos next time instead of starting setup over from the beginning. Tapping Rate 5 stars now opens the App Store review page, so a review you meant to leave actually lands.

Start with 14 days free. Your first run now walks you through it: hear a real tour tempo, choose the beat you want to hear it in, then see how your own swing compares. At the end you can start a 14 day free trial, and you can cancel any time. Also in this update: Seven short setup steps instead of one long screen. The swing comparison is back on the first run. Fixes to importing a swing from your library.

Share Elite Tempo with the golfers you play with. Settings now has a place to invite a friend, redeem a gift code, and rate the app. Every tempo you share now carries a link, so anyone who sees your numbers can find the app and time their own swing. Under the hood: purchases made outside the app, like a family approval or one completed on another device, are now handled correctly, and the monthly plan is available alongside yearly.

A new first run. Elite Tempo now plays you a tour tempo straight away, so you hear what you are training to before anything else, then lets you choose how it sounds. Twelve beat sounds, all tuned to the key of the background music so they sit with it rather than against it: the chime plus a bell, glass, music box, vibraphone, harp and a low chime. Eight recorded voices count your swing, from calm to drill, alongside your device's own voice. Change the beat and the voice any time in Settings, where you can also turn trial reminders on and off. New look too: a new app icon and a new typeface for the Elite Tempo mark.

Elite Tempo Pro is now a subscription: $24.99 a year, or $5.99 a month. If you already subscribe, your price stays the same. The lifetime unlock is retired, and anyone who bought it keeps full access forever. Your first 14 days are still the entire app, free, with no account and no card. After that the full tempo library, Time Your Swing, compare, routines, and Off-Speed need Pro. Swings and routines you recorded stay on your device and open again the moment you unlock. The subscription screen and the first launch have both been rebuilt: clearer plans, larger targets, and a first run that actually tells you what the app measures.

What's new in 1.3.6 More time to try it. Full access now lasts 14 days, so you can bring Elite Tempo to the range and feel the difference before you decide. Reminders. A nudge to practice your tempo, and a heads up before your free trial ends. Thanks for the feedback. Keep it smooth.

What's New in 1.3.5 A big refresh to how you browse, practice, and study your swing. • New browse layout. Pro Tempos, My Swings, and Routines now show a clean two-column grid, so you see more at a glance instead of swiping one card at a time. • Thumbnail grids everywhere. Your Practice library and the Compare picker now use the same clean thumbnail grid, so you can spot the right swing by sight. • Move or hide the on-video numbers. When you watch a swing on loop, drag the tempo readout aside with your finger, or hide it entirely, so it never blocks your view. • Clearer tempo cards. Each pro tempo now shows the year, with sharper thumbnails. • Faster, smoother filters. Filtering by area and switching between Mine and Reference is quicker and no longer jumpy. • Better routine review. Watching a routine now plays a few seconds past impact, so you see the full finish, not just contact. • Pace of Play cleanup. Simpler layout, and it stops after each shot to ask if you want to go again instead of looping on its own. • Stays awake while you play. The screen no longer dims mid-tempo, so you can set your phone down and keep going. • Lock Screen widget everywhere. The live tempo widget now appears for every practice mode on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, with responsive play and pause. • Polish and fixes throughout.

What's New in Version 1.3.0 A fresh start screen, a redesigned Practice tab, and a whole new look. New welcome checklist. Four quick steps get you going: play a tour pro's tempo, time your own swing, add a swing to compare against, and build your pre-shot routine. It tracks your progress and tucks away once you're set up. Redesigned Practice tab. Your stats sit up top, quick-start drills (USGA Pace of Play and Off-Speed) are one tap away, and your saved swings are easy to find with a simple filter. Background music, in rhythm. Turn on an optional groove that plays in time with the beats and voice, so grooving your tempo stays fun on repeat. Tempo tones are softer and more pleasant for long sessions too. A cleaner, richer look. A subtle black and gold gradient, frosted glass cards throughout, and a smoother edge-to-edge bottom bar. Consistent everywhere. The same filtering and card or list views now work across Tempos, My Swings, and Routines.

What's New in 1.1.0 Practice tab: your training home. Save any tour tempo, your own timed swings, and your routines in one place, then groove them with a live session timer and a daily streak. Know what the tempo means. Every swing now shows how quick or slow it is at a glance, and when you time your own, we show you the tour pro whose tempo you match closest. See the ratio, don't just read it. Your backswing to downswing split now shows as a clean visual on each swing's page. Share your tempo. One tap turns your ratio and the pro you swing like into a card made for the group chat. Plus speed, polish, and fixes throughout.

• Get Started checklist: a quick path from playing a tour pro's tempo to timing your own swing. • Watch any swing on loop with its full timing right on screen: tempo ratio, start to impact, plus backswing and downswing lengths. • Clearer My Swings and Routines lists, a "good" or "miss" tag on every shot, and a tidier compare screen. • A faster, cleaner home screen. Time the greats, then time your own.
