more Progress that tells the truth.
• "Next time" no longer suggests a lighter weight after a good session. It shows your working weight, never the warm-up.
• Bodyweight exercises no longer suggest "0 kg".
• Pull-ups, dips and other bodyweight lifts now chart your reps: best set, total reps, change and rep records.
1.13.9 Sep 20
Progress you can actually read.
• Strength and Volume rows are redesigned: name and number on top, context underneath, units on every figure. Stalled lifts open in place to show the trend and what to do about it.
• Auto-progression now works from the reps you actually train when a routine has no rep target, and the finish screen shows the range you're climbing — "13 of 12–16 reps" — instead of "+1 rep" forever.
• Exercise names show in your app language on progress and past workouts.
• Tap a day on the calendar, or in "Next in rotation", to open it.
• Fixed: "See full progress" opened a blank screen during a workout.
• Fixed: finishing a workout on the watch could start one more rest timer.
1.13.8 Sep 17
• Rate how hard a session felt — on your watch or on the finish summary — and it's mirrored to Apple Health.
• Progress, rebuilt around numbers you can act on. Muscles are measured against their own weekly set targets instead of raw tonnage, and every figure now says what it is and what to do about it.
• Bodyweight lifts track the load you ADD, so gaining weight no longer reads as getting stronger.
• Plateaus only count recent weeks; a lift whose record is years old says so instead of suggesting a deload.
• More accurate heart-rate zones, and fixes for taps that went nowhere in search, the routine builder and the strength cards.
1.13.5 Sep 15
• More room for your workout. Headers, labels and spacing were rebuilt across the app so the list gets the screen — most noticeable on smaller iPhones.
• Library search keeps your query when results change layout, and routine cards stay readable when space is tight.
• Renaming a routine is a proper text field again — the header title updates as you type.
• Set and exercise counts are easier to read at a glance.
• Fixed: finishing a day early no longer erases the day before it.
1.12.7 Sep 12
• Auto-progression now SUGGESTS instead of changing your numbers. A session opens on the routine you built; the chip tells you what it recommends and one tap applies it.
• Tap a weight or reps cell and it clears, so you can type the new number without deleting the old one first. Leave it untouched and it comes back.
• The +2.5 button steps the weight you were looking at.
• RIR is labelled in every layout — supersets and drop sets included — and tapping the label explains what it means.
• A workout you didn't finish no longer leaves the next one half empty: weights fall back to the last session that logged them.
1.12.6 Sep 10
• New: Pick your week — choose a split on your first launch and kach schedules it for you, so you can train the same day.
• The Library now points newcomers at a good first routine.
• Building a routine starts with what matters: days and exercises first, everything optional after.
• Buttons say what they're doing: Save, purchase and restore show progress, and a button that can't be tapped explains why.
• Tapping a day on Home opens that day.
• Units and range labels follow your language everywhere.
• Re-tapping an active routine filter clears it.
• Built-in routines you've scheduled survive updates.
1.12.5 Sep 9
Coach report — share your training as a PDF: the session log with every set, strength trends, personal records and body measurements. It goes out through the normal share sheet, so any coach can open it.
Also: Remove ads is now a one-time purchase, workouts recorded on Apple Watch save their calories correctly, and photos in reports are far smaller.
1.12.0 Sep 6
Progress photos are now one tap. The Front / Side / Video tiles open the camera straight away, and what you shoot appears right there in your check-in — up to three photos or videos.
Your streak understands your programme. Train three days a week and keeping to that schedule keeps the streak; it no longer resets just because you took a rest day. A session done a day early or late still counts.
On Apple Watch: weighted own-weight sets show their added load, the next exercise shows the weight you're walking up to, a rest time changed mid-rest now sticks for supersets, and the log button no longer wraps.
Also: the exercise progress card now names the window it covers, and the routine screens are tidier.
1.11.2 Sep 3
The Apple Watch app now speaks your language. It follows whatever language you've set for kach on your phone, so a Russian app no longer means an English watch.
On the wrist, kach stays on the exercise you picked instead of jumping back to one you swiped past — and when you log a set you can see at a glance whether it's saved, still syncing, or queued until your phone is near.
Plus faster analytics on long training histories, and a handful of fixes.
1.11.1 Sep 2
kach now speaks French, and you can rate the app straight from Settings. Long training histories load much faster, and bodyweight moves like chin-ups and dips log their BW load correctly again.
1.11.0 Aug 30
Apple Watch
• Buttons now give you a tap you can feel — including different taps for +15 and −15, so you can adjust rest without looking.
• Changing a rest time on the watch now sticks for the rest of the workout, like it does on the phone.
Fixes
• Ads could stop appearing if the app had been open for a while — they're refreshed properly now.
• Search results in Russian, Spanish and Portuguese now put the exercise you actually searched for first.
1.10.0 Aug 27
Apple Watch
• Rest controls (+15 / −15 / Skip) now respond the instant you tap them.
• A logged set no longer gets lost when your phone is out of reach — it syncs as soon as you reconnect.
• Bigger, easier-to-hit buttons on the set and rest screens.
Fixes
• The ad before a workout sometimes didn't appear if you started training right after opening the app.
• The ad screen no longer blocks the rest of the app while it counts down — you can back out at any time.
• Exercise search is much faster to type in.
• The "rest finished" notification shows the weight for your next set again.
Library
• Every exercise now shows start and end position photos.
1.9.2 Aug 25
• Auto-progression: kach can suggest your next weight or reps from your own training history, and explain why it picked the number. Off by default — turn it on in Settings.
• Rest timer: when you change the rest between sets, that exercise remembers it.
• Tabs renamed — Today is now Home, Library is now Routines.
• The pre-workout ad screen now has a back button, active once the countdown ends.
• Progress opens noticeably faster on long training histories.
• Fixes: custom cardio and stretching exercises now appear in search; a Language shortcut in Settings; clearer wording when you finish a workout.
1.9.1 Aug 25
• New Progress analytics: Body, Volume, Strength and Recovery dashboards
• Home: weekly volume card with trends
• Bodyweight exercises (chin-ups, dips, push-ups) now count your body weight in volume and records — including past workouts
• Smarter muscle mapping for hundreds of exercises
• Import polish for large workout histories, plus bug fixes
1.8.0 Aug 15
Your weekly training volume, front and center. The home screen now charts the total weight you've lifted week by week — tap a week to see its workouts, swipe back through your history, and follow your trend at a glance. Plus faster history loading and polish.
1.7.1 Jul 19
A big library upgrade, driven by athlete feedback:
• Exercise names now show in full (2 lines) — grip and variant always readable
• Sort the catalog by popularity or alphabetically, in either direction
• Muscles properly categorized: front/side/rear delts, obliques and soleus each have their own filter and body-map region
• Two-dumbbell exercises count both dumbbells in your volume stats
• Apple Health: one workout per session, age & sex fill in automatically, dismissed workouts no longer land in Health
• Restoring a backup is now instant, even with a large history
• More reliable Apple Watch rest-timer haptics
1.7.0 Jul 14
Bring your training history home: import from GymGoal, Strong, Hevy, FitNotes, Jefit, Fitbod and StrongLifts — workouts, routines, custom exercises, measurements and even heart-rate data. Just open your old app's export file with kach.
Plus: your own cloud backup (iCloud / your folder), auto-backup after every workout, email backup, and restore in one tap.
