Some things are better said out loud • Send a voice note, up to 15 seconds and end-to-end encrypted, that fades about 20 minutes after your partner plays it. • Every voice note arrives with its own waveform and length, so you can see its shape before you press play. • Long-press one to keep it in a small gallery on your phone. Your partner is told when you keep it, so it never happens behind their back. • A voice note only ever unscrambles in memory. Nothing touches your phone's storage unless you choose to keep it, and its key disappears the moment it fades.

The fade waits for you • A snap's 20 minutes now start when you open it, not when it arrives. One that lands at a bad moment will wait about a day for you. • Seen a snap? Delete it straight from the viewer instead of waiting out the timer. And the X on one you haven't opened asks first, so a stray tap can't lose it. • Cover a snap before it goes and it opens blurred on your partner's phone, staying covered in their gallery until they tap it. Already kept one? Long-press it and choose Cover this snap. • The volume buttons now take the photo, just like the regular camera. • Selfies now send the way others see you. Miss the mirrored look from the preview? Turn on Mirror front camera in Settings.

Little moments, together • Send a flower: a beautifully animated bloom with a personal note, kept in a vase you fill together. The rose is free to send; Premium adds five more flowers. • Share how you feel: cast today's mood or food craving and see your partner's. When you match, you'll both know (Premium). • The Partner tab has a new heart that fills as you nudge each other through the day. No streaks, no pressure. • Nudge notes fade after a while. Long-press one you love to keep it; your partner sees that you kept it. • Lock the Partner tab behind Face ID or your passcode (Premium, in Settings). • Nudges, flowers, moods and reminders now arrive with a soft chime made just for LoveClock. • Opt in to back up your pair to your personal iCloud Keychain, so a reinstall or a new iPhone can restore it. Apple end-to-end encrypts it; we never see it. • LoveClock now speaks Chinese (Simplified), Japanese and Korean, alongside English and Polish.

LoveClock began as something you kept to yourself: one date, one counter, a widget on your Home Screen. This update brings your partner in. Pair your two phones and you'll both watch the same countdown, with no account to set up and no email to hand over. You send a code or a link, they open it, and you're connected. When the app is open on both sides, an edit or a nudge shows up on the other screen a second later, and it stays private the whole way.
