Been is a privacy-focused place journal for your iPhone. It helps you remember and revisit the places you have been without sending your location history to a server. Been uses iOS visit events, groups them into places, and turns them into a personal journal, map, and simple statistics. All data stays on your device. There is no account, no cloud sync, no social network, and no external tracking. Your visits, places, names, stats, and exports belong to you. With Been, you can: Build a private journal of places you visit Name places and find them again later Browse your visits in a chronological journal View your places on a map See local statistics about visits and places Export your data as JSON when needed Been is not a live tracking tool. iOS decides when approximate visit events are detected and delivered to the app, so visits may appear late, be approximate, or occasionally be missing. Been is for people who want to understand their own routines and memories without giving away their location data.
