Snap a sign, a menu or a line from a show. Scenelet turns it into your own flashcard, keeps the photo with it and brings it back in a quick review.
You hear a line in a show and think, I want to remember that one. You walk past a sign and wonder what it says. By evening it's usually gone.
Scenelet keeps it. Take a photo or a screenshot, check the text and translation, and save the phrase as a card. The picture stays on the card, so later you still know where you met it: the café, episode three, that street corner.
After that, the phrase comes back in short reviews. You try to remember it, flip the card and tap Again, Good or Easy. Scenelet uses your answers to decide when to show the card next, so the phrases you know well turn up less often and the shaky ones come back sooner. Review intervals are calculated with the FSRS-6 algorithm.
You can save signs and menus from a trip, a page from a book, lecture slides or subtitles from a series.
Text recognition and translation use external cloud AI services. With your consent, selected images or text are sent for processing. Results can contain mistakes. You can correct the phrase and translation, or type a phrase yourself.
You can start as a guest. Sign in when you want backup and sync across your devices. There are no ads, and your photos and cards are not used for advertising.
Scenelet is free to download. The free version limits how many phrases you can save and how much cloud processing you get per day. Scenelet Pro removes the phrase limit and raises the daily allowance. Plans and purchase terms are shown in the app.
