This app couldn’t have released at a better time with the World Cup group stages coming to a close and knockout rounds on the horizon. Coming from a small town kid, this app has that small town feel right now based on the facts that it’s covering all the relevant sports coverage that’s currently in progress, it doesn’t have all the “corporatized fluff” or annoyances of seeing trans it games that I could really care less about when you get to the home page, no random news feed posts that I’m not interested in and forced to go around to see what I really want to. I chose the teams, clubs, and organizations that I care about following and that’s what I get to see right away when I open the app. Like walking into your local bar, knowing the drink you want and having it in your hand before your back pockets touch the bar stool. Love this app.

And the fact that I can toggle scores on or off per match is such a simple idea but somehow no one else built it first. I binge highlights every morning with my coffee like it’s a TV show and I’m always a season behind — except I’m never behind, I just choose when to “catch up.” Whoever built this clearly is a sports fan first and a developer second, and it shows in every detail.
