THE DAILY One new puzzle every day, generated from the date so every player in the world gets the same grid. Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Finish it and see where you landed among your friends: time, accuracy, hints used. Start late and your friends' finished runs race you as ghosts on the board. Your streak lives on the flap board, with one quiet reminder if today's puzzle would break it. RACE THEM LIVE, ANYWHERE Compete: same board, separate screens, a progress strip that fills in beside yours, square by square. Together: one shared board where every cell is stained in the colour of the player who placed it, so the finished grid is a record of who did what. Play over SharePlay straight from Messages or FaceTime, or Nearby on one Wi-Fi or Bluetooth with no internet at all. No accounts, no lobbies, no sign-up. A COACH THAT HOLDS YOUR HAND Stuck? Hold the bulb. Co-Sudoku will not drop the answer in. It walks you through the actual reasoning, step by step, lighting the row, the box and the candidates as it goes, then leaves the square for you to fill. Every technique has a name: Naked and Hidden Singles, Pointing Pairs, Box-Line Reduction, Naked and Hidden Subsets, X-Wing, XY-Wing, W-Wing, XYZ-Wing, Skyscraper, Two-String Kite, Empty Rectangle and Swordfish. You never need to know the name first. Spoken walks come in English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Italian and French, and your pencil marks count: strike a candidate yourself and the coach treats it as your deduction. WATCH IT BACK, GET FASTER Every solve is recorded, yours and your friends'. Scrub the replay to any second, see every placement, every mistake and every hint in order. On devices with Apple Intelligence, an on-device model reads the whole race and tells you where it turned, then one tap drops you at that exact moment. Nothing leaves your device. ALWAYS ONE GLANCE AWAY Three home-screen widgets drawn like a split-flap departures board. Daily + Friends: today's date on the flaps, your time, and the standings against your friends. Duel board: your all-time record against one rival, with a wheel to change who. Streak: your run, safe or at risk. START ON IPHONE, FINISH ON IPAD Solo and daily boards mirror through your private iCloud, so the half-solved grid, the clock and the recording cross over mid-thought. On iPad the daily lands with the board and the leaderboard side by side. With Apple Pencil on iPadOS 27, write a digit in a cell to place it, write small in a corner to pencil a note, and draw a line through a note to strike it. Every written digit takes exactly the same path as a tap, so your rival sees the square fill.
