WordStock is a vocabulary management app for saving the words and phrases you encounter in daily life and turning them into language you can actually use.
Whether you are studying English or another language, reading, working, traveling, or having everyday conversations, you can record the words you want to remember together with their meanings, context, notes, tags, and encounter count.
Instead of simply memorizing a list of words, WordStock helps you keep track of where you encountered a word, how it was used, and how often you have seen it. This makes it easier to build living vocabulary connected to your own real experiences.
What you can do with WordStock
- Quickly save words and phrases
Save words as soon as you notice them. You can manage both single words and longer phrases.
- Record meanings and context
Add not only meanings, but also example sentences, situations where the word appeared, and your own notes. This helps you remember the nuance when you review later.
- Organize with tags
Use tags such as work, daily conversation, travel, exam preparation, slang, or your own categories to organize your vocabulary.
- Track encounter count
When you encounter the same word again, increase its Count to understand which words you see often and which expressions are important to you.
- Search and filter
Search your saved words and phrases, or filter them by tag. Even as your collection grows, you can quickly find the words you need.
- Mark favorites
Save especially important words or expressions as favorites for quick review.
- Export and import backups
Export your important stock as a backup and import it again when needed.
- CSV export
With Pro, you can export your data as CSV and freely use it with external tools such as AI tools or spreadsheet apps.
- Speech playback
With Pro, you can listen to saved words for pronunciation checks and review.
WordStock can be used as an English vocabulary notebook, phrasebook, vocabulary memo, reading memo, or travel language memo.
Your data is stored on your device, so you can check your saved words even without an internet connection. This is useful when traveling, commuting, or preparing words and expressions you may want to use in places where you cannot easily look them up.
