Meeting Ready helps you prepare your Mac before an occasional Zoom Workplace meeting. Instead of checking each item separately at the last minute, Meeting Ready combines key readiness checks into one clear status. CHECK YOUR OVERALL READINESS • Review whether Zoom Workplace is installed and compare its version with public update guidance. • Confirm camera and microphone availability and permission status. • Check network availability, response time, battery level, charging state, and Low Power Mode. • Distinguish between a missing device and a check that could not be completed. TEST YOUR MEETING DEVICES • Preview the selected camera and confirm that the image is visible. • Monitor microphone input and confirm that audio is being detected. • Play a speaker test tone through the current system output and confirm that you can hear it. • When a camera, microphone, or output device changes, older diagnostic results are cleared. PREPARE FOR THE NEXT MEETING • Optionally scan the next 14 days of your local calendar for Zoom meeting links. • See the next meeting name, start time, and countdown. • Join from the dashboard or menu bar. • Receive optional readiness checks around 60, 15, and 5 minutes before the meeting. • Use the five-minute preflight panel for a final status check. QUIET, PRIVATE, AND LOCAL Meeting Ready does not require an account, show ads, use analytics SDKs, or track users. Calendar event contents are processed locally. Camera video, microphone audio, screen contents, and meeting contents are not saved or sent to the developer.
