• Auris is now available on iPad, with an interface that adapts to portrait and landscape.
• Navigate Library, PEQ, and Settings with native adaptive iPad navigation on iPadOS 18 and later.
• The parametric EQ gains an audio-editor layout with a large graph and a more precise band control.
• The mini player is tuned for iPad across supported iPadOS versions.
• Hardware keyboard shortcuts: Space to play/pause, Command-Right Arrow for next, and Command-Left Arrow for previous.

• New "Auris" folder in the Files app: drop audio files in (from your iPhone or your computer) and they're imported automatically. Tip: add new files only, don't move music that's already in Auris. Note: removing a song imported this way also deletes its file from that folder.
• Import a folder with .m3u playlists inside: the music is imported and the playlists are recreated automatically, in the playlist's order.
• New "How to Add Music" guide in the add menu explaining every way to import your music.

• Choose how many columns your Albums and Playlists grids show (2, 3, or 4 per row).
• Sort your Albums (Recently Added, Artist, or Title) and Songs (Manual Order, Title, or Artist) from Settings.
• Import a whole folder of music straight from the first-launch Welcome screen, as an Album or a new Playlist.

1.3.2 Jul 2
• Hotfix for long track titles: they no longer stretch the Now Playing screen or push the mini player's controls off-screen.

1.3.1 Jul 2
• Floating mini player. Now Playing is no longer a separate tab, a compact bar sits above the tab bar with artwork, title, and play/next. Tap it to open the full player; swipe down to dismiss.
• Search in your Library. A search bar at the top of the Library finds tracks, albums, and artists as you type.
• New "Allow nearby EQ bands" setting (Equalizer settings, off by default). When on, EQ bands can sit closer together, so you can place two bands near the same frequency instead of one per fixed zone.

1.3 Jul 1
• A new Genres tab in your Library. It groups your tracks by genre.
• Fixed: the Equalizer could get stuck bypassed. When the EQ was bypassed the graph dots stopped responding, and the only way back in was inside a panel you could no longer open. The dots now stay tappable so you can always re-enable the EQ.
• Fixed: the "Add Music" button on the empty Library screen is responsive again.

• Import a whole folder at once. From your Library, tap + and Import Folder, pick a folder, and choose to add it as an Album or turn it into a Playlist. Files already in your library are included in the playlist.
• A welcome screen on first launch points new listeners to the EQ tutorial or straight to importing music.
• Type exact EQ values. Tap any frequency, gain, or width in the band panel to enter a precise number.
• Multi-select now shows how many tracks you've picked when you long-press, instead of a misleading single-row highlight.

1.2 Jun 26
• Album art no longer flashes when you skip tracks. Now Playing keeps the current cover on screen until the next one is ready, instead of blinking to a placeholder.
• Reordering no longer makes the list blink. Dragging a row in the queue or in a playlist now animates a clean move.
• Improved select mode consistency.
• Imports now tell you about duplicates. Files already in your library are reported instead of silently skipped.
• Smoother Library scrolling on large libraries.

1.1.3 Jun 22
• Fixed track order for multi-disc albums. A 2-disc album now lists all of disc 1 before disc 2, instead of interleaving the discs when both restart numbering at track 1. Albums you already imported reorder themselves on next launch.
• The Equalizer now fits correctly on smaller devices.
• Album art lost to an earlier failed update now repairs itself, re-reading the cover from the audio file on next launch.

1.1.2 Jun 21
• More accurate parametric EQ: the Q (width) control now matches the exact filter width it shows, verified against reference measurements.
• Fixed FLAC tags & cover art not loading, including hi-res 96/192 kHz files that imported as "Unknown Artist / Unknown Album" with no artwork. Tracks you already imported repair themselves on next launch.
• Fixed the playback progress bar running slow on hi-res (96/192 kHz) tracks.

This update provides under the hood improvements and polishes a couple of small visual details:
• The delete icon now appears correctly in the EQ preset menu (long-press one of your presets).
• The selected-band highlight in the equalizer no longer drifts away from its dot when you open the precise controls.
