• Recently Added is now a horizontal shelf of album covers, sized to fill the screen. A new option in Settings > Library, "Recently Added as Shelf" (on by default), turns the shelf on or off; off brings back the list. • Your Collection: when the shelf is on, a new card under it shows how much of your music is lossless or lossy, and which formats it is made of. • You can now add songs from Favorites to the queue (Play Next / Add to Queue), from the long-press menu or with a swipe. • Fixes a crash on iPad when the band panel was open and a preset with fewer bands was chosen. • The spectrum analyzer no longer runs in the background after reopening the app, saving battery. • Choosing Both now always links the two ears, even if you touch the curve right away. • Switching to Left or Right and back keeps the current preset selected. Introducing the biggest Auris update yet. • Separate EQ for each ear: tune the left and right channels independently, with the other ear shown dashed on the same graph. • Import EQ files from AutoEQ, squig.link, Peace / Equalizer APO and Wavelet GraphicEQ. Each file becomes a preset, and a short note lists anything Auris could not use. • Bands now move anywhere from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, even past each other. • Choose how many bands to use, from 5 to 15, in Settings. • Touch and hold a band's dot to open its detail panel. A tap now only selects it. • New Balance control in Settings: lower the louder ear by up to 6 dB. • Choose the new spectrum view: Off, Output, or Before / After. • iCloud preset sync: presets you create or edit in this version reach a device still on an older version only after you update it. • On iPad, Library content smoothly adapts as the sidebar opens and closes. • Large text no longer truncates the EQ's frequency, gain, Q and preamp values. • Now Playing correctly shows “EQ · Bypassed” whenever the equalizer is off. • The playback scrubber is easier to grab while keeping its thin visual appearance. • More robust recovery after audio-service resets, returning safely to paused with the queue, position and sound settings preserved. • Pressing Play after a long pause now always resumes the music from where you left it. • When adding songs to a playlist, albums are now listed A–Z by artist. • New: Crossfeed, It mixes a filtered copy of each channel into the opposite ear, so headphones present a more speaker-like stereo image. Choose Light, Medium, or Strong, or set Amount and Range yourself. • The band controls have been redesigned as sheet on iPhone. It no longer takes space from the graph, and one tap on a band opens its controls. • Switch between bands from inside the panel with the new 1–10 selector, and reset a single band or every band on iPhone. • The Q slider is now logarithmic, gain adjusts by dragging its value, and the filter menu is a clear Peak / Low Shelf / High Shelf selector. • Bands are now limited only by their neighbours, so you can place them wherever the sound needs them. • The spectrum analyzer runs at higher resolution. • Floating mini player. Now Playing is no longer a separate tab, a compact bar sits above the tab bar with artwork, title, and play/next. Tap it to open the full player; swipe down to dismiss. • Search in your Library. A search bar at the top of the Library finds tracks, albums, and artists as you type. • New "Allow nearby EQ bands" setting (Equalizer settings, off by default). When on, EQ bands can sit closer together, so you can place two bands near the same frequency instead of one per fixed zone. Thanks for using Auris!

• A new Genres tab in your Library. It groups your tracks by genre. • Fixed: the Equalizer could get stuck bypassed. When the EQ was bypassed the graph dots stopped responding, and the only way back in was inside a panel you could no longer open. • Import a whole folder at once. From your Library, tap + and Import Folder, pick a folder, and choose to add it as an Album or turn it into a Playlist. Files already in your library are included in the playlist. • A welcome screen on first launch points new listeners to the EQ tutorial or straight to importing music. • Type exact EQ values. Tap any frequency, gain, or width in the band panel to enter a precise number. • Multi-select now shows how many tracks you've picked when you long-press, instead of a misleading single-row highlight. • Album art no longer flashes when you skip tracks. Now Playing keeps the current cover on screen until the next one is ready, instead of blinking to a placeholder. • Reordering no longer makes the list blink. • Fixed track order for multi-disc albums. A 2-disc album now lists all of disc 1 before disc 2, instead of interleaving the discs when both restart numbering at track 1. Albums you already imported reorder themselves on next launch. • The Equalizer now fits correctly on smaller devices. • Album art lost to an earlier failed update now repairs itself, re-reading the cover from the audio file on next launch. • More accurate parametric EQ: the Q (width) control now matches the exact filter width it shows, verified against reference measurements. • Fixed FLAC tags & cover art not loading, including hi-res 96/192 kHz files that imported as "Unknown Artist / Unknown Album" with no artwork.
