more We've got a new colleague at Runnr.
Our new training assistant has arrived, and it already has plenty of ideas on how to help you get more out of your runs.
Tell it what you want to achieve, get a personalized training plan, or ask it to create a route with intervals and strides. You'll get feedback on your runs, tips on how to improve, a little praise when you've earned it, and a push in the right direction on the days you need it.
It still can't do the running for you. We asked.
**What's new:**
- Training Assistant: Tell it your goal, and it'll build a plan and adjust it when life gets in the way. Free to try, with more messages included in Premium.
- Intervals and audio coaching: Runnr guides you through warm-ups, intervals, and recovery periods, so you can focus on running instead of checking your watch.
- 3D Routes: Explore your route and its hills in 3D on a full-screen map, and watch a 3D replay of your run when you're done.
- A brand-new design: Runnr has a fresh new look, from the home screen to the final kilometer.

Run clubs are here!
• Find a run club near you in Explore, on the map or as a list, and join with one tap.
• Run on your own: your club posts a run, say 5 km. Tap "Make route" and Runnr builds it right where you are. Your run counts for the club automatically.
• Club runs can repeat every week, and you stay signed up for the next one.
• Get notified when your club posts a new run, plus a reminder on the day.
• Like and comment on club posts.
• Start your own club: with or without a regular meeting spot, and public or link only.
Share with a link
• Share a club or a route, and the link opens it straight in Runnr.
• Tap a route's name to rename it.
Leaderboard
• Running and cycling now have separate leaderboards, and unrealistic runs don't count.
Explore
• New design for route and club cards, where you can swipe through a route's photos.
• The map opens where you are.
Plus a number of fixes and improvements.

• More space on the map to view your route once it has been created.

4.2.0 Sep 30
Ask the other runners, a new bottom menu, and a coach that writes sharper.
**Ask a question in the feed**
New: polls. Ask the other runners the things you would otherwise google -
best running shoes, which rain jacket, how many times a week - and get answers
with one tap. You write the question, pick two to six answers and how long it
stays open. The question sits in the home feed between the runs, and people
can like, comment and share it like anything else.
The result only appears once you have answered yourself, so the numbers do not
answer for you. You can change your answer while the poll is open, and nobody
can see who answered what. You will find it on Home, next to the bell.
**New bottom menu**
The menu at the bottom is now a floating capsule instead of a bar fixed to the
edge. The run button sits in the middle, your own profile photo has become the
icon for your profile, and the tab you are on gets a quiet marker rather than
a colour. The menu pulls in as you scroll down the feed, leaving more room for
what you are looking at.
**A sharper coach on your profile (Premium)**
The coach on your profile has got better at reading your runs. The week's plan
tells you how far to run, how many runs that is, how long the long run should
be and when to hold back - worked out on your own phone from the runs you have
actually done.
On top of the numbers, AI writes the week's review: how it is going, what the
week is about and why the plan looks the way it does, plus one concrete thing
to try on one of the week's runs. It sticks to your own numbers and does not
invent distances or times. Only the week's numbers are sent - never routes,
places, dates or times - and you turn it on yourself.
**Updated look**
The feed, the profile and the sheets have been tightened up: the same card
style, the same spacing and the same rounded shapes all the way through, in
both the light and the dark theme. What matters most on each card stands out
more, and the rest sits quieter.

4.1.4 Sep 22
A new look, a faster way to find routes on the map, and clearer guidance while you run.
New design
The top 3 on the leaderboard is now featured in the middle of the Home screen, making it easier to keep track of the rankings.
The "Run this" button on a route has also been redesigned. A dark button with a small flag now shows the distance and time directly, so you know what you're getting into before you start.
Find routes on the map
The Explore tab shows routes shared by other runners directly on the satellite map. New is "Run something nearby": From any route, you can now jump straight to the map, centered on the route's starting point, and explore nearby routes with clusters, distances and fastest times.
Better navigation and voice guidance
Clearer instructions for turns, paths, roads and crossings – on the map, through voice guidance and on Apple Watch.
Leaderboards
See how you compare with other runners and track your own progress over time.
Family subscription
Share Runnr Premium with your family while everyone keeps their own profile, routes and history.
Thanks for using Runnr.
4.1.3 Sep 16
**More to run for - and more to run with.**
**Leaderboards**
See how you compare with other runners and follow your own progress over time.
**Better navigation and voice guidance**
Get clearer prompts for turns, paths, roads and crossings - on the map, through
voice guidance and on Apple Watch.
**Family subscription**
Share Runnr Premium with your family while everyone keeps their own profile,
routes and history.
**A new way to create routes**
Choose how a run takes shape: let Runnr find it, set points, draw it or
describe what you feel like running.
**More information for every route**
See weather, surface, elevation, distance and estimated time before you head
out.
4.1.2 Sep 5
You can share your runs now, and Runnr can be light.
**Share the run when you finish**
After a run you can post it: photos from the road, the route drawing itself on
the map, and your numbers. The camera sits inside the sheet, so you can take
the picture where you are instead of hunting for it afterwards. You choose
whether the run is seen by everyone, by the people who follow you, or only by
you - and the map can be left off entirely if you started from home.
**The front page is people who have been running**
Home shows runs: who has been out, how far, and what it looked like. Routes to
take out with you live under Explore, now on satellite maps, so you can see
whether a route runs through woods, along water or down residential streets.
**Light theme**
Runnr can be light now. Switch it under You, Settings, Theme. Onboarding and
the big flows stay dark whatever you pick; they are built as one picture with a
colour of their own.
**You is your whole account**
Settings have moved into You, bottom right. Your friends, your saved routes,
your posts and every single setting now live in the same place instead of being
split across two pages.
**Find friends by searching**
Add friends is a search field now. Type a name or a username and it searches
every runner in Runnr - before, you could only find the ones the app happened
to have loaded. If you are not sure who to follow, there are a few suggestions,
with Runnr itself at the top.
**Integrations in settings**
A new section shows what Runnr is actually connected to: your Apple Watch and
whether the app is installed on it, Apple Health, and how to get a route onto a
Garmin, Coros or Polar via GPX.
4.1.1 Aug 27
Running with just the watch works now.
The voice can be heard
Music is turned down while Runnr speaks, instead of leaving the voice to fight it. The volume now shows on screen during your run, so you can see it and adjust it without hunting for it. If you would rather leave your music alone, you can switch the ducking off in Settings.
A way back when you drift off course
Go off route and an arrow points back to it, with the distance to cover. The message repeats instead of being said once and then never again. All of it works with no connection, which is the whole point: that is exactly where you are when the phone stayed home.
Numbers that keep counting
Distance and pace used to freeze the moment you left the route. They now show how far you have actually run, wherever you run.
Your runs in Apple Health
A run recorded on the watch now saves the route itself, so you can see it on the map in Health instead of just as numbers. The watch asks permission the first time.
Watch runs count towards your flame
Run without your phone and it counts towards your streak as soon as the watch and the phone meet again.
The screen during a run
The map on the watch is gone. It had to fetch its tiles over the network, and that is precisely what you do not have with you when you run without a phone. Instead the next turn is written across the top of the screen, and your numbers fill the rest. It needs no connection and reads in half a second.
English throughout
The app is now in English everywhere. Danish was still showing in a lot of places if you had chosen English.
4.1.0 Aug 26
Runnr has its own map now, and more ways to build a route.
**A new map**
We have moved from the system map to our own. The colours are Runnr's, your route
stands out in the colour you picked, and while you run the line fades ahead of
you so you can see the direction without looking for an arrow.
**Say what you want to run**
"10 km past the harbour." "About an hour in the woods." "5 km without traffic
lights." Runnr turns it into a route. It now knows your town, so a place like
"the harbour" resolves to the right one - and you can say where you start: "I'm
at the station, 8 km past the zoo."
**Choose your surface**
Prefer trails and gravel over asphalt? Set it in Settings and routes will weight
for it. You can ask for the opposite too.
**Points that close the loop**
Drop the places you want to pass. Tap the first point when you want to head home,
and the route closes there.
**Tap the route**
Surface, elevation and sharing are now one tap away on the line itself. Surface
data also travels with a route you pull in from the feed, so you know what you
are in for before running someone else's.
**Tidied up**
New buttons, calmer colours, and a contents menu in Settings so you can jump
straight to what you are looking for.
4.0.1 Aug 21
Runnr 4.0 - running is something you share now.
NEW: RUNNR SOCIAL
A feed of real routes from real runners. Follow the ones worth following, save
routes for later, and run them from wherever you are. Like and comment.
Anything you make, you can publish with one tap - or keep to yourself.
NEW: STUDIO
Draw your own route with your finger, or place points on the map. Runnr snaps
it to the roads so it can actually be run. Your drawing, your streets, your
route.
NEW: RUNNART
Turn a picture into a running route. Pick a design, place it where you want to
run, and run the line. We have added a batch of ready-made figures too.
NEW: THE BELL
Likes, comments and new followers in one place. No more opening your own posts
to count.
A FOR YOU THAT IS ACTUALLY YOURS
The feed learns what you like and shows you something new every time you open
it. What you have already liked moves to the bottom - you have seen it.
SAFE TO BE IN
Everything posted is checked automatically before it goes public. Anything can
be reported, anyone can be blocked, and we review reports within 24 hours. You
can delete your content and your account right in the app.
ALSO IN THIS VERSION
- The feed now loads properly the first time you open the app
- Tapping a route in Explore opens it with likes, comments and "Run this"
- If your monthly routes are used up, the app now says why - and what you can do
- Updated terms and privacy policy, rewritten from scratch
The running app still works with no account at all. Routes, Zone 2, the watch
and Health work exactly as before.
Requests or bugs? support@runnr.dk - we read everything.

Choose your personal color in Settings. It carries through everywhere: on the map, in your history, and in everything you share.

3.3.3 Jul 6
Nyt i denne version:
• Mere stabil registrering af løbet distance
• Bedre sikring mod falske emblemer og streaks
• Mere præcis ruteprogression under aktiv tur
3.3.2 Jul 5
Runnr 3.3.1 – smartere Zone 2, snakketest & roligere live-tal
Denne opdatering gør Zone 2 mere brugbar i praksis.
Snakketesten i centrum
God tur! Skriv til os på support@runnr.dk.
3.3.1 Jul 2
Runnr 3.3.0 – dagsform, daglige udfordringer & mere ro i appen
Daglige udfordringer
Finpudsning
* Onboarding, streak, indstillinger og flere skærme er strammet op visuelt
* Små rettelser til rutevisning, aktivt løb, paywall-flow og tekst
* Mindre forbedringer og stabilitet
God tur! Skriv til os på support@runnr.dk.

Nyt i Runnr

• Emblemer at samle – Første 5 km, Halvmaraton, Maraton, 100 km-klubben,
God tur derude.

We've got a new colleague at Runnr.
