Battle Drill on Apple Watch — and more ways to share The all-new Apple Watch app keeps your devotional rhythm on your wrist: • Listen — Browse recent audio devotionals with artwork and stream them right from your watch, through the speaker or your AirPods. Playback keeps going when you lower your wrist, and counts toward your streak. • Now Playing — A simple player with artwork, play/pause, 10-second skip back/forward, and a countdown to the end. • Progress — See your streak, your last 7 days, longest streak, and total time. Pull down to refresh. • Prayer & Reflect — Check off prayers and capture a quick reflection by voice or keyboard. • Streak complication — Add it to your watch face to keep your streak in view; it updates in the background as you listen. Never miss a new sermon or devotional. We've overhauled how notifications and widgets keep up with fresh content: • Premiered sermons now notify reliably. Sermons released as YouTube premieres are detected the moment they go live, so you'll get a notification when there's something new to watch. • Home screen widgets stay up to date. The Daily Devotional and Battle Ready Sermons widgets now refresh on their own throughout the day — and instantly when you open the app — so they always show the latest episode. • Dark Mode fix. Widget titles are now clearly readable in Dark Mode. Polish and improvements: • New theme setting. Choose Light, Dark, or System appearance in Settings. • Cleaner navigation. What's New in Version 1.4.2 Bug Fixes & Improvements • Widgets now update in the background. The Devotional Videos and Sermons widgets previously only refreshed when you opened the app. They now update automatically when new content is published, so your Home Screen always shows the latest episode. • Fixed an issue where the title and text on the home screen widgets could be hard to read in Dark Mode. Widget text now stays clearly visible in both Light and Dark Mode. • Push notifications for new episodes are working again. Notifications for new sermons and devotionals were not being delivered due to a server configuration issue. This has now been resolved.

Bug Fixes • Fixed an issue where some episode descriptions were appearing as large blocks of raw text in the Daily Devotional audio list, including symbols like ' displaying instead of apostrophes. • The Daily Devotional (audio) and Devotional Video tabs now always organise episodes strictly into Monday–Sunday weekly groups, regardless of episode titles or descriptions. • The Sermons tab now correctly groups sermons into named series only when the description explicitly identifies them in the format Sermon Series: [Name] - Sermon [Number]. • Fixed a YouTube API connection error that was preventing videos from loading. • Fixed an issue where the Devotional Videos and Sermons tabs would not refresh their content when returning to the app — videos now update automatically each time the app is reopened.

iCloud Sync Your journal reflections, prayer list, and bookmarks now sync privately across all your devices using iCloud. Add a prayer request on your iPhone and it'll be waiting on your iPad — automatically. Enable or disable sync anytime in Settings → iCloud. Played Episodes Sync Episodes you've listened to on one device are now marked as played everywhere, so your progress is always up to date. Pull to Refresh The journal, bookmarks, and prayer list now support pull-to-refresh, even when the list is empty — handy for pulling in synced data from another device.
