A gothic fantasy color-by-number game focused on relaxing artwork, calm play, and atmospheric visual storytelling. At the end of a long day, sometimes all you want is a little beauty and a little silence. Dark Color is a coloring game shaped for that mood: a calm, immersive escape into gothic fantasy. Enter a world of moonlit scenes, haunted elegance, ravens, roses, candlelight, ruined towers, and mysterious figures. Each illustration begins in fragments. As you color by number, the image settles into focus and its hidden atmosphere starts to unfold. The pleasure here is simple and quiet. Tap, color, breathe, continue. No artistic experience needed, no pressure to create from scratch. Just an easy rhythm that lets your mind loosen while intricate artwork slowly comes alive. Dark Color is made for late-night unwinding, creative breaks, and solitary moments when you want something more transporting than scrolling. The tone is dark, elegant, and imaginative, with art that leans into mystery rather than noise. Every completed piece feels like opening a small door into another world. What you’ll find inside: • Intricate gothic fantasy illustrations to color by number • A relaxing coloring flow that supports calm focus • Mysterious scenes and characters revealed piece by piece • A creative space for self-expression and quiet escape • An artistic experience with a moody, polished visual style If you love coloring games but want something with more atmosphere, more shadow, and a stronger sense of story, Dark Color offers a different kind of retreat. It is peaceful without feeling plain, expressive without demanding too much from you. When the day has taken enough, this is a soft place to disappear for a while. Pick a piece, follow the numbers, and let the dark beauty unfold.

I love this app and its images. If you love to color on apps and you are tired of getting the same images as a child this app is for you. There is great variation in the images and a huge library.

Not working with Apple Pencil…

I am trying to use my Apple Pencil and it won’t work in this app. I hate doing these things with my fingers so I am not going to sit and try to do that so I’m just going to delete the app. It works to move the page and scroll and everything but when I am in the actual picture and trying to color it nothing happens. I have opened other coloring apps and it works fine but it won’t work in here. I will try again in a little bit but if it doesn’t work I will be deleting it. If it does work I will change my review.

Developer Response

I LOVE the art in this game. I wish I had the option to play offline because the ads are out of control. Open a new pic: 30 sec ad, check a notification: 30 sec ad, screen locks because you got distracted: 30 sec ad, finish a picture: 30sec ad. And you have to click through at least 4 screens to close the ads. Outweighs the calming effect of the game honestly.

Developer Response
Thank you for praising our art style. We sincerely apologize for the frequent ad interruptions. While ads keep our game free to play, we understand this impacts your relaxing experience. A "Remove Ads" feature is in our development roadmap, and we are working to optimize ad placement.
