HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick your daily screen time limit (most people start at 3 hours).
2. Choose which apps count toward it.
3. Live your day. Stay under your limit and today gets an X.
4. Don't break the chain.
When you get close to your limit, Present Days sends one heads-up notification. That is the only time it interrupts you. There is no shame screen, no lockout, no breathing exercise. Every X is yours because you actually put the phone down.
THE WIDGET IS THE POINT
Put the calendar on your home screen. Every time you pick up your phone, your streak is looking at you. Protecting it becomes the reason to stop scrolling.
PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE
Your usage data never leaves your phone, because it cannot. Apple's Screen Time framework tells Present Days exactly one thing: whether today crossed your limit. The app never sees your minutes, your app list stays on your device, and there are no accounts, no sign-in, no backend, and no analytics. We could not read your data if we wanted to.
HONEST BY DESIGN
- A day under your limit earns an X. A day over does not. That is the whole deal.
- Turn off Screen Time access and the streak ends. No cheating, including by us.
- Quiet days count. Leave your phone in a drawer all day and you have earned your X.
