You are the great white. The screen never stops scrolling, your
stomach never stops growling, and the sea keeps sending champions to
stop you.
Shakenshark is a bite-sized retro arcade game in glorious 8-bit pixel
art: one finger to swim, one tap to fight back, and one goal - eat
everything that fits in your mouth.
HOW IT WORKS
- Drag anywhere to swim - up, down, surge ahead, drift back. The shark
never stops moving forward.
- Tap to launch a spear. You can steer with one finger and shoot with
another.
- Eat fish to score. Take three hits and it's game over... unless you
continue.
15 FISH TO HUNT
Start with minnows and sardines. Level up to unlock butterflyfish,
puffers, flying fish, moray eels, squid, lionfish, tuna - all the way
to the elusive Golden Koi. Gobble an entire school before it escapes
and the whole school pays double.
13 BOSS BATTLES
Every third level, the ocean sends a champion: a giant dolphin, an
orca, a sniper eel, a spinning octopus, a barracuda school, a
whirlpool crab, a dive-bombing pelican, a spike pufferfish, a
mine-laying squid, a tsunami whale, a phantom shark... and waiting at
the end of the deep, the mighty kraken. Each one fights differently.
Learn the pattern, land your spears, move on.
LEARN THE REAL OCEAN
Every creature in the game is a real animal. The first time you meet
one, a discovery card pops up with a real photo and a fun fact written
for kids - how clownfish and anemones protect each other, why orcas
have family languages, and which deep-sea giant started the kraken
legend. The facts return every run, or switch FACTS off on the menu
for pure arcade.
EVERY LEVEL SHAKES HARDER
Levels come from your score, and each one cranks the heat: faster
currents, more dolphins, rarer fish, tougher bosses. There is no end -
only your best run.
