API keys, tokens, recovery codes, private notes — the secrets that aren't logins, in Apple's end-to-end encrypted iCloud Keychain. No server to breach, no subscription. Secret Store keeps the credentials a password manager's login form can't hold — API keys, access tokens, database URLs, recovery codes, SSH and GPG keys, license keys, private notes — in Apple's iCloud Keychain, end-to-end encrypted by Apple. No account. No server. No subscription. Your secrets live in the same end-to-end encrypted iCloud Keychain that already holds your passwords, passkeys, and saved Wi-Fi networks. Secret Store doesn't store, sync, or encrypt anything itself — there's no Secret Store server to breach, and no home-grown cryptography to trust. We can't leak what we never hold. Free to Start Store up to 10 secrets free, forever — no trial timer, no account, no catch. A single one-time purchase unlocks unlimited secrets. No subscription, ever, and every future feature is included. Add secrets by hand, or import them from files — one value at a time, or a whole folder at once (each file's name becomes the secret's name). Yours to Keep Back up your secrets whenever you want — as one passphrase-encrypted archive any Mac can open without the app, a plain Apple Archive, or loose files — and restore them just as easily. Nothing is ever locked in. Built for Privacy • End-to-end encrypted by Apple's iCloud Keychain • No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs — the app has no network access at all • App Privacy label: Data Not Collected • App Sandbox + Hardened Runtime; reads only files you explicitly choose Locked Down • Unlock with Touch ID or your Mac's login password • Auto-locks after five idle minutes, on screen sleep, and on screen lock • Copied values are flagged so clipboard managers and Universal Clipboard skip them, and the clipboard clears itself after 90 seconds • Values stay masked and never appear in Mission Control thumbnails Syncs Across Your Macs Add a secret on one Mac and it's on every Mac signed into your iCloud, carried by iCloud Keychain. Nothing to configure. Secret Store is made by one person. Email goes directly to me.

Back Up & Restore Your secrets are now yours to take anywhere. Create a backup as separate files (one per secret) or a single document, with your choice of protection: • Encrypted (.aea) — locked with a passphrase using Apple's Encrypted Archive. Opens on any Mac with the passphrase, no app required. • Apple Archive (.aar) or plain files — when you just need to move data out. Restoring is just as easy: pick a backup and your secrets are brought right back in, skipping any duplicates. Import from more file types Importing secrets from files now reads plain text out of RTF, Microsoft Word (.docx), and PDF documents — not just plain-text files. Progress for bulk actions Importing or deleting a lot of secrets at once now shows clear progress. Reliability Entitlement changes — like a restore or a refund — are now reflected immediately, without needing to relaunch the app. Everything stays end-to-end encrypted and in sync across your devices through iCloud Keychain. No account, no servers, nothing to sign in to.
