This update introduces Bean Sharing, so it’s easier to tell friends about coffees you love. Share any scanned bean with other WholeBean users, who can then save it to their own collections and explore its story, taste profile, and brew recommendations. It’s perfect for cafe hangs when one of you scans the bag and the other wants to remember it for later, or anytime you want to recommend a new bean to try.

Experiences has been redesigned to showcase the shops where you discover and enjoy your coffee. Now, when you save a new bean to your collection and link the spot you had it at, you can dive into the actual location and see all the cafes you frequent or discover when traveling, right on an embedded map. Tap an experience to open a new view that pulls in details about the coffee shop and what it’s known for—signature drinks, style, and more. We’re now bringing the same level of insight to the places you drink coffee as to the beans themselves, so you never lose track of a favorite café or the beans they serve.
