Haibao AI is a local video player that generates bilingual subtitles on your iPhone or iPad with on-device AI. Watch imported videos with original and translated captions without uploading media to a cloud AI service.
Local video playback
Play videos you import into the app using a native player, with AVPlayer and a VLC-based fallback for less common formats. Haibao keeps playback controls, subtitle options, and recently played media organized.
On-device AI subtitles
Generate subtitles from the audio track using an on-device speech model. Choose the spoken language and a target language to show original and translated captions together with Apple Translation.
User TV
Add individual HTTP or HTTPS live stream URLs you are authorized to access and watch with real-time AI captions and translation. Haibao provides no browser, channel catalog, recommendations, public lists, or playlist import. User TV is free.
Easy importing
Bring videos into the app from the Files app, or send large files from a computer on the same Wi-Fi network using the built-in Wi-Fi Transfer page.
Privacy-minded by design
Local media files, file paths, subtitles, and translated text are not uploaded to cloud AI services. The app may send minimized product analytics and error information as described in the privacy policy.

Haibao Plus subscription
Haibao Plus unlocks unlimited watching, on-device AI subtitles, and bilingual translation. Choose Monthly or Yearly auto-renewable subscriptions, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Monthly and Yearly subscriptions each include a 7-day free trial. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not include a free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in Settings.
