• Footnote fix — Tapping a footnote in books that keep their notes in a separate endnotes page (for example Kobo-converted EPUBs) now opens the footnote popup instead of jumping to the end of the book. • Reader tour — Fixed a bug where the reader tour was turning pages. • Recently Added sort — A new Recently Added option in Sort & Filter lists your newest imports and downloads first, so a batch of new books stays together. Recently Read no longer scatters books you have not opened yet. • Komga series — Books from a Komga server now show their series, so they stack in the series view and appear under More in this series.

• Better panel reading — Comics and manga now use a single, more accurate panel detector, so panel-by-panel reading finds panel edges more reliably. • Manga reading direction — Turn on manga-style reading for a whole library (right under Sync on its Settings page) or a single series, and right-to-left comics page the right way round, with taps and page curls agreeing. PDFs get the Manga/Regular switch too. Comics that declare their own direction are respected. • Four new reading fonts — Atkinson Hyperlegible, OpenDyslexic, EB Garamond and Libre Baskerville are now available in the reader. • Stacks by author — Sorting by author now groups books into author stacks, with the series or author name and book count under each stack. Books with no author sit at the end. • Clearer library tiles — Every book and stack is the same size and aligned in the grid, with title and author underneath. The Sort & Filter button lights up when filters are on, and long collection names wrap to two lines. • Series always on — Series grouping is no longer a setting; it is always available under Show. • Safer downloads and imports — Downloads and imports are checked before they are added to your library, and corrupt or oversized files are rejected instead of half-importing. • Import results — Importing several files now shows what was added, what was already in your library and what could not be imported, and you can cancel a large import. • Self-signed servers — Covers and downloads now work with servers whose certificate you have trusted. • Faster manga page turns — Right-to-left comics now prepare the next page ahead of time, so turning pages is quick. • Comics open on the full page first — A comic, scanned PDF or fixed-layout book now opens on the full page the first time, with a hint pointing at the panel button. After that it reopens in whichever mode you last used for that book. • More accurate reading time — Time-left estimates no longer swing wildly on very fast page turns. • Search keyboard fixed — The keyboard no longer gets stuck after clearing the search box, and it no longer pops back up when you return to the Library from a book. You can also drag the list to put it away.

Mark Your Books with Color-Coded Highlights Select any passage in EPUB or PDF, choose a color, and it highlights persistently while reading. Every highlight auto-saves to Settings → Text Highlights and syncs via iCloud to all your devices. Tap a highlight to change its color or delete it. Browse all highlights for a book directly in the reader's Bookmarks sheet. Improved Definition Lookup No more automatic pop-ups when you select text. Now you control what happens: tap Define for the definition, Highlight to mark it, Copy to save it, or Search the library — all in one convenient menu bar. Your Series, Organized Automatically If your Kavita or Calibre server has series metadata, Sutra groups your books by series in the Collections shelf — so you can browse and pick up the next book without losing your place in a sequence.

A big update: a real page-curl animation for turning pages, a full dark theme (Day, Night, or follow System), and Left-Handed Page Turns for one-handed reading — all new in Settings.
