Poetry Tone Coach is an offline learning tool for classical Chinese poetry, verse writing, and meter practice. You can enter poem lines locally, view tone labels for each character, check rhyme categories, compare common regulated verse and quatrain patterns, and save your practice drafts. The app requires no login, does not connect to the internet, and does not collect personal data. All drafts, practice records, and saved templates remain on your device, making it suitable for long-term poetry study. Main features: Tone labeling: Shows level and oblique tone marks character by character, with notes for possible multiple readings. Meter check: Includes common templates for five-character quatrains, seven-character quatrains, five-character regulated verse, and seven-character regulated verse, with hints for tone mismatches, couplet issues, and suspicious irregular lines. Rhyme reference: Browse rhyme groups, mark matching rhymes, nearby rhymes, and possible rhyme risks, helping you revise line endings. Draft notebook: Save drafts, edits, favorite lines, and templates locally, with filtering by verse form. Practice stats: Track check counts, frequent error positions, and rhyme usage for review.
