How Family Guardian Works
1. Sign up or log in using your Google account.
2. Create your family and invite children using a secure invitation code.
3. Set up important family features, including:
o School schedules
o Bedtime mode
o Safe zones and school areas
o Location sharing
o Screen time limits
o App usage limits and app blocking
4. Parents can monitor their children's safety through the Family Dashboard, while children use a simplified Child Dashboard.
5. Parents can receive alerts when:
o A child leaves a safe area
o A child travels beyond a distance limit (such as 5 km or 10 km)
o A child requests additional screen time
o A child's device battery is low
o A child arrives at or leaves school
6. During Bedtime Mode, children can be restricted from accessing apps according to family rules.
7. To prevent children from disabling protection, logging out of Family Guardian requires a Parent PIN. Only parents can create and manage the Parent PIN.
