3.0 is the biggest update since launch. - A new look, with illustrations throughout. - Five tabs: Empire, Market, Companies, Rivals, Shop. Finances now live inside Empire, next to Overview and Wealth. - Your available cash now sits at the top of every screen. - Wealth. Pay yourself out of the holding, then buy an apartment, a jet, a yacht, an island or a football club. Each one costs upkeep and makes you harder to vote out. Spin most of them in 3D, or put one on your table in augmented reality. - Boost ×2 doubles your weekly income at every close, for as long as you have closes left. Top it up with a video, gems or your board membership. - Back from a break? Each tier adds the same amount again to what you earned while away, up to ×4: a video, gems once your away time has hit the cap, and a permanent tier. - When you leave, the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen count down to that cap, and show last week's income. - Reminders you switch on one by one: away gains capped, board dividend ready, streak at risk, season ending, limited offer expiring. - Facing an eviction vote you can't win? The shop now opens on top of it, and a few videos can also save your seat. - One video doubles the board dividend, your daily goals or the XP from a win, or takes 10% off a takeover bid. Up to 20 videos a day.

Watch a video and sit on the board for an hour, once a day. - Up to 8 bonus videos a day: double your offline earnings, or top up your cash when things get rough. - The board membership screen now fits on larger iPhones without scrolling.

- Relaxed mode now plays without shareholders: no demands, no ultimatum, no eviction vote. Your empire moves at your pace. - Since 2.7, a game in progress refused to open: on the game picker, tapping its row did nothing. It opens again, intact — net worth, companies and history included. - Older games, left untouched since 1.4, open again too. - And if a save is still unreadable, the row now says so instead of doing nothing.

Rivals who play the same game They hire executives, fund innovation projects and buy countries of their own. First place is no longer something you keep by default. Decisions, queued The Companies tab now lifts whatever needs you to the top, ordered by what waiting costs you. English, if your device speaks it The app used to fall back to French on any device that was neither French nor English. It follows the device now. Light mode The interface follows the system, or you choose: System, Light, Dark. A home screen that knows your empire The briefing talks about your territories, your laws and your rivals instead of repeating day-one advice. Also Everything stays readable at the largest text sizes and contrast is up to AA. Six engine faults are gone, including an executive salary charged twice a week and a bond that cost more than the loan it replaces.

A board sets you targets and judges you at the deadline. Meet them, or it votes you out. Credit rating, bonds, and leverage that has a price. FEWER ADS. The interstitial cadence has been loosened considerably. FIXES. The "PRIVE" badge and the control star now show in full in your companies list.

The home screen finally tells you what is holding you back. Your holding's loop — capital, position, control, cash flow — is now drawn at the top of the screen, with the link throttling it highlighted: leverage stretched too far, a subsidiary losing money, control a few points away, or capital sitting idle. Every time, the exact figure and the move that clears it. Every company now carries its own emblem, too: no more interchangeable logos. And seasons have a name. “New Deal” opens on October 12: a contract of ten goals to complete in 28 days, XP for every line you tick, and a Pioneer title only this season awards. Twelve seasons follow one another, each with its own goals and title. What you tick stays ticked, even if you start a new game.

A complete overhaul of the game's economy. READ THE ACCOUNTS Every company now publishes a full balance sheet and income statement, with over thirty financial ratios — liquidity, solvency, profitability, valuation. Each one is explained in a sentence: what it is for, and what its number means. An expert mode shows the formulas. A WORLD MAP Twenty-eight real countries, with the companies based in each. Take control of a territory to pass laws there: a German subsidy only benefits your German companies. COMPANIES THAT LIVE AND DIE Startups launch into whichever sector is hot. Most fail, a few become unicorns. Struggling companies now actually go under — and failure is decided on the real checks of financial analysis: interest coverage, equity ratio, current ratio. TAKING MARKET SHARE A giant keeps its quality but loses its growth as it matures. A more innovative company takes ground back, slowly but genuinely. Also: a yearly summary instead of the weekly one, longer seasons, R&D funded from your subsidiaries' own cash, more legible text throughout, and many fixes.

The app is now called Business Tycoon — the spelling is finally right, on your home screen and on the App Store listing. Fixed: companies founded by your rivals were taking up your own founding slots, so the game could refuse you a new company even when you had founded only one. Your current game is repaired automatically on launch. Stability fixes and general polish.
