Turn today's takeaway from a book or film into one line, and a beautiful carve card to share. AI offers prompts, not answers — the writing is yours. Carve your learning.
Carve your learning into one card.
You read a book. You watched a film. You spent real time on it — yet a week later you can barely remember what it was about. Sound familiar?
Kizamu is a learning-journal app. Write down what you learned today from the books and films you love, condense it into one short line, and turn it into a beautiful, shareable "carve card." Keep what YOU took away — not just a log of what you consumed.
■ Write your learning, day by day
For books, add one "today's learning" entry each day; for films, usually one. On the day it's fresh, capture what struck you in your own words. The more you read and watch, the more your own learning journal grows.
■ Share a carve card, condensed into one line
Turn each entry into one short "carve line." Pick an angle with the perspective chips, keep an eye on the count, and shape it. You get a beautiful card laid out with the work's cover, your line, and the date — ready to share on social or with friends.
■ The writing starts from an AI prompt
Not sure what to write? An AI suggests a "prompt" to draw your learning out. You answer it in your own words and carve it down yourself. The AI never writes the line for you — the writing and the carving are always yours. But putting it into words gets a lot easier.
■ A light look-back that makes it stick
Your carved learnings come back the next day and about a week later as a gentle "look-back" reminder. Just re-read them — no tests, no scoring. Reading again helps learning stay, and Kizamu weaves that into everyday life without pressure. Finish a book or film and a wrap-up card brings the whole thing together.
■ Find any book or film in seconds
Connected to book and movie databases, so you can search and add what you want to read or watch right away — with cover art and posters that make your carve cards shine.
Great for people who:
- Forget what a book was about almost immediately
- Feel like they "read it" but can't put it to use
- Struggle to put impressions and learnings into words
- Don't want to waste the time and money they invest in themselves
- Want journaling their learning to become a lasting habit
Don't let what you read and watch end as consumption.
Each day's learning, carved into one line, becomes a beautiful card worth sharing.
So — carve today's learning into one card.
Ratings & Reviews

This update lets your carved learning live on as moments that actually showed up in your life.
■ Carve as many seeds as you like
You can now keep several learning seeds for the same work on the same day, each as its own entry — choose insight, question, or hypothesis.
■ The next day starts with your own cue
Each seed now has its own cue, shown before you open the words you wrote. No scores, no right or wrong.
■ Seven days later, one tap to connect it to life
Pick from noticed / used in a decision / tried / put into words / changed my mind. Only the seeds with nothing yet come back gently after 30 days.
■ A redesigned learning dashboard
See at a glance how many learnings reached your life, in what ways, and which ones you're still growing.
■ Attach a photo of the page that stayed with you
Add a single photo, such as a book page. It stays private to you and is never used on carved cards or in sharing.
■ New "How to use kizamu" guide
Check the purpose, the flow, notifications, and what stays private anytime from Settings.
■ More reliable startup and networking
Startup steps are now isolated so a single failure no longer leaves you stuck on the launch screen, and network calls have time limits so a weak connection won't keep you waiting.
■ Other improvements
More reliable account deletion, clearer photo and camera usage descriptions, and various bug fixes for a smoother experience overall.
