Bandly: IELTS Writing Coach

Practice, feedback, rewrites

Free · In‑App Purchases

Plan your next IELTS writing practice with estimated bands and criterion-level feedback. Write, compare an answer example, rewrite, and track your practice. Bandly helps you practise IELTS Academic Writing and plan your next learning goal. Scores are practice estimates, not official IELTS results. CRITERION-LEVEL FEEDBACK Practise Task 1 and Task 2 and review estimates for all four writing criteria. Compare your writing with an answer example. AI-generated examples and basic structure templates are clearly labelled. REWRITE AND TRACK YOUR PRACTICE Revisit saved answers, see score trends, and try a question again. Choose chart and essay questions or enter your own. Switch interface languages without losing your draft or history. The app supports the full set of 50 App Store locale variants. Questions, learner writing and English answer examples remain in English. OPTIONAL PREMIUM MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION On iPhone and iPad, Premium provides cloud AI scoring for Task 1 and Task 2, with an optional question photo, criterion estimates, strengths, improvements and an English example answer. This is a one-month auto-renewable subscription with no free trial. See the App Store price in your local currency before purchase. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the next renewal. Restore purchases and open Apple's subscription management from My Info > Premium. CLOUD SCORING REQUIRES YOUR CONSENT Answers, questions and optional photos are sent to Zrindy's server and OpenAI only after explicit consent. Google Firebase authenticates an anonymous server account, and RevenueCat verifies subscription access. Withdraw consent or delete the anonymous server account in My Info. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription or erase local learning history. Cloud errors preserve your draft for retry. FREE ON-DEVICE PRACTICE Basic on-device scoring and the optional downloaded on-device model remain available without a subscription. You can skip onboarding. Mac supports local practice only, with no Premium cloud scoring or Firebase analytics. On iOS, usage statistics and crash-data collection can be disabled in My Info. The optional on-device model is approximately 2.6 GB and needs an internet connection for its initial download; Wi-Fi is recommended. Band estimates and examples are learning aids, not a guarantee of an official score or score improvement. IELTS is a trademark of the British Council, IDP and Cambridge. Bandly is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
