FitLock turns "I'll exercise later" into "I'm exercising now." It's a menu-bar app that puts a short, timed movement break on your Mac. On a cadence you choose, every display shows a vault-style lockdown: one no-equipment exercise, a target, a live countdown, and a coach in your ear. Do the work, tap Done, and the vault springs open — your streak climbs and you get back to your day. Not up for the rep right now? The countdown ends the break on its own, and Emergency Release lets you step out at any moment — it's a nudge to move, never a way to lock you out of your Mac. SIX COACHES — PICK YOUR POISON Your coach sets the tone of every message AND how hard the targets ramp, from gentle to merciless: • Sunny — relentlessly positive, believes in you completely • Buck — your steady, no-nonsense trainer • Jill — tough love; she believes in you if you bring it • Sarge — drill-sergeant blunt, no debate • Ronda — savage, comical roasts aimed at your chair habit • Drago — brutal, and you will not earn his approval Every coach has their own hand-written lines, so no two breaks sound the same. MANY MOVES, ZERO EQUIPMENT Wall sits, desk push-ups, chair squats, planks, calf raises, jumping jacks, mobility work and more — all desk-friendly, nothing to buy, with new moves added over time. FitLock randomizes the assignment so you never get the same break twice in a row, and you can toggle off anything you can't do where you work. HARD TO IGNORE, EASY TO ESCAPE The break covers every connected display so it's easy to notice and hard to absent-mindedly click past — but you're always in control. The countdown ends the break for you, Emergency Release leaves instantly (it just skips the rep), and you can quit FitLock at any time. Just enough friction to keep you honest, never a lockout. QUIET UNTIL IT COUNTS FitLock lives in your menu bar with a glanceable countdown to the next break, your current streak, and one-click control. No Dock icon, no clutter. It can launch at login if you turn that on, and politely holds off when you're on a call (mic or camera in use).
