Less manual entry
Scan receipts and import supported PDF, CSV and Excel bank statements. Review amounts, dates, income/expense direction and categories before saving.
Categories from merchant names
Finance Bro uses local keywords to suggest an existing category: supermarkets to Groceries, taxis to Transport, and coffee shops to Cafes and restaurants. Correct a suggestion when needed; supported workflows can remember your correction as a merchant rule. Unknown merchants may remain uncategorised. Keyword matching does not require an external AI model.
Optional automation
Automatic recording needs a supported source, a selected account and automation setup. A Wallet automation can supply eligible Apple Pay payment data through Shortcuts; Finance Bro does not read Wallet history. Permissions and background execution depend on iOS. On iOS 26, the app cannot read arbitrary bank-app push notifications. Kaspi QR receipts can be shared for import with a user action. Ambiguous messages and possible duplicates need review; automatic capture of every purchase is not guaranteed.
Budgets, debts and family
Manage subscriptions, debts, goals and multiple currencies. Optional email sign-in enables encrypted personal cloud backups and shared family budgets. The three latest successful personal copies are kept; receipt photos are excluded.
Receipts and ordinary statements are processed on your device. With your consent, an unreadable PDF can be recognised on the Finance Bro server; a cloud account is required. Finance Bro does not execute bank payments.
