Smarter refreshes, and two Settings fixes. • Each flight is now refreshed on its own schedule: one that is months away is checked a few times a day, one that is boarding every few minutes. Opening the app or a background wake no longer re-checks flights that are not due, so SKYGATE uses less data and battery, and live data stays fresh on the day it matters. Pull down to refresh still refreshes everything at once. • Settings now shows the flight limit that actually applies to your plan, instead of a fixed number. • The Rate SKYGATE button in Settings now opens the App Store as intended.

Less background data, and a clearer start. • The example flight on a new install now explains itself: one tap to remove it, one to add the flight you're actually taking. • Tap a country in Stats for a calendar of the days you spent there — handy if you're counting against a 90/180 allowance — and every flight now names its airline, not just its logo. • Big reduction in network use while you fly. Your plane's position comes from live ADS-B and the schedule is re-checked less often, so SKYGATE uses less data and less battery. Gate changes and delay alerts are unchanged. • A fix that was quietly costing everyone: the sample flight on the dashboard was being refreshed like a real one, forever. • The free plan now tracks one active flight at a time, instead of three. If you already track more, you keep them — nothing is removed.

Your arrival time is now the destination's time. • A flight landing in Geneva shows the Geneva time — on the card, in the detail header, in the change log, on the Lock Screen and in the widgets. • The Live Activity and the widgets never had the airport database they needed to be right. They do now, and the medium and large widgets gained an Arrives row. • Tap any country in Stats to see every flight that took you there, with real departure and arrival dates. • New: days spent per country, with a Schengen 90/180 meter counted across the whole area — so you can check an allowance before you blow it. Counted from the flights you track, entry and exit day included. • Bulgarian and Serbian were fully translated but the app never offered them. Fixed. • Fixes the rating prompt: tapping “Rate SKYGATE” asked for the App Store sheet while the panel was still open, and iOS discards a request made that way. It now opens properly — and the app asks at a quiet moment, at most once in a long while, and never again after you say no.

The board now tells the truth about where your flight is. • Flights no longer show as "In the Air" days before they leave, and a flight that has already landed no longer sits under Upcoming. • The live map works everywhere: the airport database went from 55 airports to 5,330. That also fixes arrival times that were an hour out when your phone and your destination were in different timezones. • In the air, the Lock Screen counts down to landing instead of to a departure that already happened — and you see how late you will ARRIVE, not how late you left. • Gates are found more often, and when the airline hasn't published one yet the app says when to expect it. • New: the cabin your airline actually flies on this aircraft, and shareable cards of everywhere you've been.

Your language, on the screen that asks you to pay. • The subscription terms, the plan titles and the whole Lock-Screen Updates section were still written in English in 35 languages. They now read in yours. • The flight screen showed Seat and Booking twice, and the copy you reached first was the one you could not type into. There is now one of each, and it takes what you enter.

Redeeming a code works on Mac, and the subscription screen is whole again. • Fixed: on Mac, "Enter a Code" did nothing at all. It now opens App Store redemption with your code already filled in. • Fixed: on Mac, the top of the subscription screen was cut off — the plans and their prices sat off-screen. • Subscription terms are now readable on iPad and Mac instead of fading into the background photo. • On Apple TV, the redeem screen now tells you where codes can be redeemed.

Share a flight board with a friend: invite links now open the shared board. See who really flies your trip: codeshares show "Operated by" the airline and flight number that appear on the airport boards. Real wheels-up and touchdown times, live climb/descent on the map, and a "landed" alert the moment your flight arrives. New weekly and monthly plans, alongside annual. Richer Apple Watch flight screen and a more useful Dynamic Island. Live map progress now matches the flight and updates on its own. Reliability and performance improvements.
