- Sel now keeps memory use bounded when the Mac is under heavy load - Image, animated GIF, and text overlays keep their correct proportions when you resize a custom output frame.

- Moving and resizing the custom output frame is much smoother, especially while sharing a high-resolution window. - The unlocked output frame no longer blurs the content inside it. Instructions and the output-size readout now have compact backgrounds so they remain readable over any window.

- Custom output ratio. Turn it on in Settings and a frame appears on screen; the area inside the frame is what you share. Ratios: 16:9, 4:3, 3:2, 21:9, Square, 9:16, iPhone, iPad, or Custom (free-form). Drag the frame to move it, drag a corner to resize it (the ratio is kept automatically), then lock the frame and arrange your windows inside. Included in the free version. - The frame shows its output size in pixels and carries its own controls: a ratio picker, a lock, and a button that switches back to Match display. - The area outside the frame can be dimmed and blurred. Each effect has a toggle and an intensity slider on the frame. - Fixed: the share window adopts the output's shape immediately. It used to keep its previous shape, with black bars around the picture, until resized by hand.

- The share window stays out of your way. When you start sharing it drops behind your other windows instead of sitting on top, and a card shows which window to pick in your meeting app. A new Tuck away off screen option in Settings hides it entirely where your meeting app allows. - Fixed: the windows you picked no longer disappear after you open Mission Control or switch Spaces and come back.

- Fix: recording stutter while while windows are moving - Step through scenes without the mouse: arrow keys switch scenes while the preview is focused, a chevron pager sits next to the scene name in the bottom bar, and the Scenes menu gains Next Scene (⇧⌘]) and Previous Scene (⇧⌘[). - Faster scene switching. Bouncing between two scenes is nearly instant as a scene's windows now start capturing together, and windows that just left a scene stay warm for a moment in case you switch back. - One quiet button style across the app, with a clear hover state, and teal labels that are easier to read in dark mode.

- Image and text overlays on your scenes (full version). Images, animated GIFs, and text with adjustable size, color, font, bold and italic, and a backing pill. Drag and resize them in the preview with center-alignment snapping and guide lines. Hide one with its eye button, or lock it against changes. Overlays stay in place while the zoom magnifies content beneath them. - A short animated welcome on first launch shows how Sel works in five steps. Replay it any time from Help. - Duplicate a scene from its card's menu, keeping windows, layout, background, transition, and overlays (full version). - Rearrange scenes and overlays by dragging their cards. Overlay order is the stacking order. - Animated scene transitions: Fade, Slide, Zoom, Wipe, Blur, Through Black, Hex Tiles, Dissolve, or Swirl, per scene with adjustable duration. They play in the output, recordings, and the preview, and scene switches wait for the incoming windows instead of popping them in one by one. - Redeem offer codes inside Sel, from the license window. - Recording stutter is fixed: the encoder no longer skips frames at full resolution and 60 fps, and zoom glides smoothly while recording. - Show your Mac's menu bar in the share, as a band above the canvas. - Sharing a still scene now costs almost nothing, so the fans stay quiet through long meetings. - The cursor in the share moves at a smooth 60 fps, shared windows have their thin edge line again, and the webcam bubble looks the same in the preview and the share. - Search field to filter the settings, Record and Snapshot together in the toolbar, and the empty state is now a gentle animation. - Animated scene transitions. Pick a transition per scene in the scene settings pane: Fade, Slide, Zoom, Wipe, Blur, Through Black, Hex Tiles, Dissolve, or Swirl. The switch to that scene plays the animation on the output, in recordings, and in the preview, and each scene has its own adjustable duration. Your webcam, captions, and keystrokes stay in place while the content changes beneath them. The switch also waits for the incoming scene's windows, so they no longer pop in one by one. - The empty state's window-stack motif is now a gentle animation: the cards float and the front one glows, in a seamless loop that pauses whenever the window is hidden. - Redeem offer codes inside Sel. The license window has a Redeem Code button that opens the App Store redemption sheet, and the unlock applies the moment the code goes through. - Recordings stutter is fixed. The video encoder kept falling behind at full resolution and 60 frames per second and quietly skipped frames. It now favors speed so every frame makes it into the file. - Show your Mac's menu bar in the share. A Settings toggle adds the real menu bar as a band above the canvas in every scene, with the menus you open shown under it, and the output grows taller by the strip so nothing is covered. - Shared windows have their thin edge line again. macOS draws it as part of the window shadow, which the capture leaves out, so Sel restores it, following each window's real corner shape. - The webcam bubble looks the same in the preview and the share: white ring and soft shadow in both. - Sharing a still scene now costs almost nothing. Sel skips rendering when nothing on screen changed, so the fans stay quiet through long meetings. - The cursor in the share moves at a smooth 60 frames per second. - Filter the settings. A search field above the app settings hides the sections that do not match, so a specific option is quick to reach. - The scene settings pane now shows the name of the scene you are editing. - Record and Snapshot sit together in the toolbar, and a recording shows as a pulsing red icon there next to the timer in the status bar.

# On-screen keystrokes Show your keyboard shortcuts on screen while you present or record, so viewers can follow the commands you use. Shortcuts and keys like Tab, Return, and the arrows appear as you press them, and repeated presses combine into one with a count. You can switch to showing every key for typing walkthroughs, and Sel keeps password fields private. Choose the alignment and size in Settings. # Movable overlays Place the webcam and the keystrokes wherever you want. In the layout editor, drag the webcam or the keystroke row to any position, and Reset returns them to the default.

Fixed: zoom to cursor now follows the pointer everywhere, including over the background and with the cursor set to hidden. Before, it only followed while the pointer was over a shared window.

- Blur the background of your webcam, with adjustable strength. - Your webcam settings (on or off, blur, position, shape, and size) are now remembered between launches. - The webcam turns off on its own when no Sel window is open and you are not sharing, so the camera is not left running. - Fixed: buying the full version while sharing now removes the time limit right away.
