AromaTraining helps you recover your sense of smell — at home, offline, at your own pace.
It is built on olfactory training (the Hummel protocol): each day you work with 6 scents through 4 mindful steps (look → inhale → memory → integration). Vivid photos, a breathing rhythm and memory cues keep the olfactory networks active even when the nose stays "silent". The method is widely used for smell loss and distortion after COVID-19 and other infections.
For parosmia (distorted smells) there is a dedicated differentiation mode that trains the brain to tell a real smell apart from the intrusive phantom image — with a difference scale and a recommended difficulty order.

• Every scent now shows the olfactory group it belongs to and what you can use instead if you don't have it at home — grapefruit for lemon, clove for cinnamon — with a note on how strong each substitute smells.
• The article on the Hummel protocol now explains why having four different groups matters more than the exact oils you use.
• Fixed a crash that could happen when restoring a large backup file.
• Wording and stability improvements throughout the app.
