Spotter: Gym Workout Tracker

Private strength training log

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.

New: set a tempo and Spotter ticks through every rep and counts them for you. Log left and right separately. Still no account, and nothing leaves your phone. Hi, I'm an independent developer, and I built Spotter because I wanted a strength tracker that's fast, private, and actually feels like it belongs on iPhone. No account to make. No ads. No one watching what you do. Just you and your training. Build a workout once, then start it with a tap. Log every set with one hand, keep an eye on your rest timer right from the Lock Screen, and finish to a little celebration of what you just lifted. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT • It's genuinely private. Your workouts and history stay on your device and sync through your own iCloud. I never see your data. • It's made for the gym floor. Big, one handed controls, instant logging, and a rest timer with haptics. • It feels like progress. Personal records pop the moment you hit them, plus a weekly goal ring, streaks, trend charts, and badges to earn. TRACK EVERY LIFT • 100+ exercises you can browse by muscle, equipment, or type • Reps and weight, or timed holds for planks, carries, and conditioning • Machine settings and notes for each exercise • A "last time" reminder, so you always know what to beat STAY MOTIVATED • Personal records called out the moment you set them • A weekly workout goal with a streak that doesn't punish your rest days • Achievement badges for your milestones • A year long activity heatmap, and trend graphs for each exercise (top set, estimated 1RM, total volume) EVERYWHERE YOU TRAIN • An Apple Watch app, so you can log sets from your wrist • A Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, so you can skip or add rest without opening the app • Home Screen widgets for your next workout and recent activity • Start a workout from Control Center, the Action button, Siri, or Spotlight WORKS WITH APPLE HEALTH • Saves your finished workouts to Apple Health (type, duration, energy, volume) • Can read your body metrics to personalize things, and shows you exactly what it uses Think of it as the piece Apple Fitness leaves out: structured strength training, done properly. SMART, AND ON YOUR DEVICE (on supported iPhones) On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Spotter can put together a workout for your goals and reshape it for the day when you're short on time or low on energy. It all happens on your device, never on a server. FAIR, SIMPLE PRICING Spotter is free with two custom workouts and unlimited logging, so you can properly try it before you buy. If you want more, go Pro to unlock unlimited workouts: a low monthly plan, or a one-time lifetime purchase if you'd rather pay once and own it forever. Either way it keeps Spotter independent, private, and ad-free. Thanks for giving it a try. If something could be better, I would genuinely love to hear about it. • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

Log what actually happened. • Drop sets, sets to failure, AMRAP, back-offs and rest-pause. Mark what a set really was, and your records stay honest: the hard work still counts toward your volume, but a stripped-down drop set no longer competes with your top set. • Left and right logged separately for single-arm and single-leg work. Log the left, Spotter flips to the right, and both sides land as one set. • Set a tempo like 3-2-3-0 and Spotter ticks through every part of every rep and counts them for you, so you can stop counting in your head. • Weighted pull-ups and dips now count your bodyweight, not just the belt. Your volume and estimated 1RM for those movements are finally right. • Warm-up ramps for dumbbells, machines and cables, not just the barbell, and one tap to log the whole ramp. • A note on any single set, and notes you can still edit after you finish. • Apple Watch rebuilt: two clean pages instead of one long scroll, left and right on the wrist, and last time's numbers where you can actually see them. • Workouts that never made it to Apple Health are sent across automatically. No account, no ads, and your data stays on your phone. Made by one person. Tell me what to build next.
