Settings now shows a green message when an update, reset, delete, or factory reset finishes. Find a Fly has a new blue summary bar that always lists what is narrowing your flies. The main list and Picture Grid bars use the same order and show filter names instead of a count whenever there is room.

Pad and Mac now open to a picture grid instead of a blank screen. The grid also shows the same fly count, filter bar and Reset button as the list, so you can see how many flies match and clear your filters without switching views. On iPhone, you can tap to switch between the list and pictures while searching in Landscape.

Fixed a remaining case where iPad could show an extra background window after opening a shared file. Share My Flies wording tweaked slightly. Added a note to Share My Flies and backup files clarifying that photos aren't included.

Share My Flies now includes a download link and clear instructions for anyone who doesn't have FlyBox installed yet. Added a quick on-screen reminder to rotate to Landscape for a picture view while searching on iPhone.

Expanded to 343 patterns with 10 new traditional tenkara flies (search "tenkara" to find all 10). Searching on iPhone and rotating to Landscape now automatically shows your matching flies as a picture grid.

New Load My Flies from File lets you restore a backup or add flies someone shared with you, right back into My Flies. New Share My Flies sends your flies straight to Mail, Messages, or AirDrop in one tap. FlyBox files can now also be opened directly from Files, Mail, or Messages. Update Bundled Flies now also catches and fixes any duplicate bundled flies on demand.

New Save My Flies to Files option in Settings — back up your personal flies as a text file anytime, alongside Copy to Clipboard. Rotating between portrait and landscape now keeps the same fly selected on both. Empty fields consistently show as Not Specified throughout.

A behind-the-scenes reliability improvement: bundled flies you've personally customized are now better protected during a fresh reinstall of the app, so an edit is never lost.

New Delete Fly button in the fly detail view — delete any fly, bundled or personal, right from the screen you're viewing it on, no swiping required. Handy on Mac too, where swipe-to-delete isn't available.

Bundled flies now sync automatically when you update the app — no more manual step required. Find a Fly's region search is smarter — flies tagged "All Regions" now show up no matter which region you pick.

Species tagging — every one of the 300+ bundled flies now carries up to three species tags (Trout, Bass, Pike, Walleye, Steelhead, Salmon, and so on), searchable and filterable through a new Species field in Find a Fly and in the Add/Edit form, plus an All Species option for true universal attractors. Species also feeds into search and Recommended Flies. Find a Fly — the old Filters sheet is renamed, and its empty-state layout is tightened up. Coastal region — split cleanly out from Saltwater (which is a Type, not a Region), now abbreviated CO. Settings gear icon — turns orange with a live count badge whenever bundled flies have pending updates, so you can see how many at a glance without opening Settings. Reset All Bundled Flies and Factory Reset are now red instead of orange, so color consistently means safe (orange) vs. destructive (red). Saltwater/Warmwater badges — Saltwater now reads SL (was SC) to avoid clashing with Coastal's CO. Since the last manual update, Steelhead and Walleye also got a real species-coverage expansion (Steelhead now shows 10 flies in-app, Walleye 9, up from 4 and 3).

Fixed a bug in notes field. Also updated the app's tagline to Fly Fishing Guide, and refreshed all screenshots to match the latest app improvements.
