Toggle between Dark, Satellite, and Hybrid layers to scout terrain and foreground; see your current location, compass, and scale; tap a saved location for details or fit every pin on screen at once. Reliable location where it matters. Getting your current position now works far more dependably at remote, off-grid sites — and tells you when a fix is only approximate so you can fine-tune. Smoother location picking. Drop a spot by panning the map under a fixed crosshair instead of trying to tap an exact point (tap still works as a shortcut). Fixes & polish.
