Know what's coming before your kids do. FilmScout maps every movie scene by scene and taps you a few seconds before the moments you'd rather handle your way.
FilmScout tells you what's in a movie before your family presses play, and warns you about 30 seconds before a flagged scene arrives. Know what's coming. Watch on purpose.
Every movie in the catalog gets a ScoutScore, a single number for how much parental guidance to expect. Green means all clear. Red means buckle up. The score re-tunes to your family's values, so what matters in your home shapes every rating.
KNOW BEFORE YOU WATCH
Tap any movie to see its full breakdown: violence, language, sexual content, substance use, scary moments, and more. Every scene is flagged, categorized, and described in plain language, so nothing catches you off guard.
SCOUT COMPANION
Start a movie and let the Companion follow along in real time. It gives you a heads up before a flagged scene arrives, so you can skip it, mute it, or start a conversation. You stay in control of the moment instead of reacting to it.
PERSONALIZED FOR YOUR FAMILY
Set up profiles with your own sensitivity levels for each content category. Add personal triggers and phobias so the scenes that matter most to you are highlighted before they happen. Every ScoutScore re-weights to match.
AGE RATINGS FOR YOUR COUNTRY
See the official age rating for your region, right on the movie, so you always have the local context.
THE MAGIC BEHIND IT
Watch hand picked behind the scenes videos so kids can see the monster was a puppet and the fight was choreography. It is just a movie, and here is the proof.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Your first family profile is saved even on the free plan. Alerts ask for permission at the right moment, with a plain explanation of why. Movie requests show real progress instead of a spinner. Making-of videos open full screen in landscape. Search ignores punctuation, so "antman" finds Ant-Man. A star marks the scenes your custom profile changed. Plus a smoother first-launch tour.
