SHIMY — just be yourself*ie
no swiping. no stale profiles. no wondering if anyone's even out there.
stop curating. start dating.
SHIMY is real-time, proximity-based, and built around one idea: if you're out, say so.
post a live selfie when you're around and open to meeting someone. people nearby see it. if someone wants to meet you, they respond with their own selfie. you approve the ones you're into. chat opens. that's it.
It's your time.
- Post are live for 3hrs
- Chats last 24hr
Don't waste it.
how it works:
- post a live selfie when you're out
- see who's nearby and actually available right now
- respond to someone you like with your own selfie
- get approved — start chatting
- make something happen before the post expires
why SHIMY is different:
- real selfies, right now — not photos from two years ago
- you only show up when you want to
- proximity-first — the people you see are actually near you
- posts expire in 3 hours — the feed is always fresh
- chats last 24 hours — enough time to make plans, not enough to ghost forever
- identity verified — real people only
And when you just need someone to talk to...
say hello to Shimy -- our fluffy little mascot lives in your chat list and is always down to talk — whether you're waiting on a match, having a rough night, or just bored. no judgment, no agenda, just good company whenever you need it.
no filters. no fakes. no catfish.
