THE WAR GREW: 100 MISSIONS BECAME 140 Forty new battlefields, built by hand, join all three campaigns: forest ambushes, brick mazes, lake fortresses, chains of islands. Steel Crusade now runs 80 missions, Iron Labyrinth and Inferno run 30 each, the boss roster grew from 8 to 19, and the free missions now hold two full boss fights. GAME CENTER ARRIVES World leaderboards for your furthest stage, best run and highest Endless wave on every difficulty, plus 34 medals: the first is called First Blood, the hardest asks for 10,000 kills. The boards are brand new, so the top spots are still there for the taking. ENDLESS NOW FIGHTS IN WAVES Real wave assaults under a forged WAVE banner, a shield dome while you deploy, and progress that banks the moment a new wave begins. Losing a run no longer costs you the whole night. EVERY MAP CAME ALIVE Piers and rowboats, sagging wire lines, sandbags and tank traps, craters, bones, wildflowers. Warm lamps line the roads, and on every map one lamp never lights. That one is not a bug. Leave it be. Replay an old mission and see what grew where you fought.
