Fixes sharing your shopping list. If someone shared their list with you, it now appears alongside your own — one list, both trolleys.

Introducing Learn — a new recipe to master every week, tips from our kitchen, and hand-picked cooking classes. Save any of them straight into your cookbook, and find your family's own tips there too. Recipe of the Week now works its way through your whole cookbook instead of settling on a favourite. There are new cover photos and character avatars to make the book yours. Also fixed: videos play properly, a recipe photo that failed to load no longer stays blank, the search box no longer disappears while you're typing, and a shared shopping list keeps every tick.

You can now gift the app. Buy someone a year of their own cookbook — for a wedding, a kitchen tea, a first flat — and choose to send a copy of your whole recipe book with it. Their cookbook is theirs outright, with room to invite their own family in, and there is nothing more to pay when the year is up. Tips & Tricks now sits beside your recipes instead of behind a menu, and Help & FAQ has moved into More — every question we get asked, searchable, without leaving the app. And the polish: a second Start Cooking button at the foot of the method, so you don't scroll back up when you've finished reading. Kitchen tips sit with the method they apply to. Family Notes has its own card. On the meal planner, "What's cooking today?" stays put while you scroll the week.

Section headings like "For the sauce" no longer turn up as things to buy on your shopping list, or as ingredients to tick off on a recipe. Cook Mode's step counter now matches the steps you're actually cooking. On the Recipes tab: one search bar instead of two, an add button that follows you down the list, and the tab bar stays put while you read a recipe.

Cook Mode now shows what each step needs: • Every step lists its own ingredients, with the amounts — no more paging back mid-stir • Finish a cook and you'll see a photo of the dish; if the recipe hasn't got one, you can take it right there • A way back out of a filtered or searched recipe list, and tapping Recipes returns you to the top • Various fixes and polish

Fixes and polish across the app: • Much faster recipe saving — photos now upload together, not one at a time • Sharing a recipe now always includes the link, however you send it • After editing a recipe you've shared, choose to update the shared copy • Photo enhance preview: your original shown first, clearer buttons • Housekeeping now flags recipes that need tags • Stability fix for a rare crash on launch

• Invited by family? Sign up with the email your invitation was sent to and the cookbook opens automatically — no link needed. • See and manage your subscription in Account — plan, renewal date, and Apple's manage page. • Resend or remove pending invitations. • Photos and videos now have location data removed before upload. • Deleting your account now removes your personal data too, not just the sign-in.
