Never just what's trending. A calmer Home A cleaner feed of what the people you follow save and rate, with their faces on every card. Tap Want to go on anything you spot. Your friends on the map See whose gem it is at a glance. Friends' faces sit on the places they saved, guide picks show as white dots, and more appears as you zoom in. Your taste profile Every place you rate teaches Gems your taste, and Gems sums it up in plain words. Pick what you want more of and less of, and see who shares your taste. Your top picks Choose your top 5 in each city, so friends know exactly where to start. Save what's around you Open Search and the places near you are already there. Save one in seconds. Ask Gems, early access Ask for a place in your own words and get picks from your taste and what your friends rate. We're opening it in waves. Tap Ask Gems to join the list. A new way around Home, Discover, You and Search in the tab bar. Share with anyone Send a gem, board, guide or city. Friends without Gems get a webpage with real photos. Plus better privacy controls, a faster app and lots of fixes.

Introducing Guides Turn your saved gems into stories. Write beautiful long-form guides like e.g. "The best coffee shops in Copenhagen", "A guide to beautiful Taormina" or "Authentic markets in Paris" with rich text, photos, place cards, and mentions of the people who inspired you. Share them anywhere; anyone can read on the web at joingems.app, no app needed. Likes and comments on gems Show appreciation for gems or guides shared by your friends and start conversations or add recommendations directly on gems and guides. Tap the heart, drop a comment, mention friends and places by @name. Plus we've fixed a bunch of bugs and improved multiple flows.
