Sharebar is a macOS menu-bar app for the small developer tasks you repeat all day: format JSON, encode Base64 and URLs, inspect Unix time, test regex, check cron schedules, hash text, generate UUIDs, compare text, and convert colors. Its headline feature is Share Links. For regex, cron, color, and Unix time, Sharebar can encode the tool state into a URL fragment. Send the link to a teammate and they can reproduce the same result in a browser, edit it, and re-run it. No server stores the state. The link is the data. Why developers use it: - Open from the menu bar or global hotkey - Smart Detect suggests a tool from your clipboard when you open the popover - One-click transform and copy - Share regex, cron, color, and Unix-time tools as reproducible links - App and Share Page use the same JavaScript core for matching results - Works offline with no accounts, analytics, or tracking - App Privacy: Data Not Collected Privacy by design: Data-carrying tools such as JSON, Base64, URL encoding, hashes, UUIDs, and diff do not create Share Links. Shared links are limited to tools whose state is safe to inspect and reproduce. For regex, including the test string is explicit and optional. Sharebar is built for developers who want quick local tools without pasting work into random web services.
