New in 1.1: sun walks, morning light, and a week at a glance. Daylight from Apple Health, no account, no logging, on iPhone and Apple Watch.
Sun Nudge is your gentle daily reminder to get more natural daylight — without the hassle.
It reads Time in Daylight from Apple Health. No timers to start. No account to create. Just a clear picture of today’s light on iPhone and Apple Watch.
What’s new in 1.1
Sun walks When daylight and steps overlap, Sun Nudge glues those windows into a sun walk — minutes, distance, and the time it happened. You’ll also see what share of your steps were outside.
When the sun happened A morning, midday, and evening strip so you can tell if your light was a sunrise walk or a late-afternoon stretch.
Morning light A quiet streak for days whose first daylight is before a time you pick.
Week at a glance Seven checks for the days you hit your goal, plus a month you can scroll back through.
Still here, still calm
• Daily daylight ring and streak • A goal you can change anytime • Sunscreen logging and reapply nudges (estimates only — not medical advice) • Optional UV and golden hours when you turn on location • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Control Center, and Shortcuts • Apple Watch pages for today, this week, your walk, and sun safety
Privacy, on purpose
Sun Nudge has no account and no ads. Time in Daylight, steps, and walking distance stay on this device. Location is optional and only used for UV and sky when you ask for sun safety.
Automatic daylight minutes come from Apple Watch via Apple Health. Allow Steps and Walking + Running Distance if you want sun walks; Time in Daylight still works without them.
Step into the light. Feel the difference.
Such a great app! The design is clean, simple, and really easy to use. I love how it makes tracking time outside feel motivating without being overwhelming. The daylight goals and streaks are such a cute touch, and I’ve already found myself being more intentional about getting outside because of it. Everything feels thoughtfully designed and works smoothly. I can definitely see this becoming one of those apps I check every day. Highly recommend!
Finally !!

I have been so excited when I heard this app. And it’s the perfect app to remind me to go outside! I get so busy and my goal this year is be outside more. Exactly what I needed at the right time. And works beautifully with my watch and iPhone
I love this app!

It reminds me when I should step outside and take in the sun light, some days I work inside all day and forget that going outside for a little bit is super healthy. I love this app!
Perfect for the beach

I'm always forgetting to put on my sunscreen this app will literally remind you. It already saved me twice from getting sunburned!
Welcome to Sun Nudge 1.1
Introducing Sun walk (the big one)
Uses Time in Daylight plus Steps and Walking + Running Distance (on-device, read-only):
• Sun walk — nearby daylight windows with real steps, glued into one walk (time, distance)
• Steps in daylight — steps that overlap those windows, not a fake “total minus indoor”
• Share outside — how much of today’s walking happened in daylight
• Hour strip — morning / midday / evening
• Morning light — streak if first daylight is before the time in Settings
People who already have 1.0 get a What’s new screen, then the system Health sheet for the two extra types. No Skip / Not now.
Week and history
• Week at a glance — seven circles, check when that day’s goal is hit
• History — expand to a month and scroll back
Home, Watch, widgets
• Hero collapses as you scroll; UV & Sun Safety expands in place like Golden Hours
• Watch has four pages: Today / Week / Walk / Safety
• Today widget is the 1.1 dashboard in miniature (ring, week checks, walk, SPF)
• New This Week widget
• Control Center + Shortcuts: log SPF, hear daylight left
Still no account, nothing leaves the device!
