Drop a folder with your clips. 2. cutsmart transcribes your speech and tells talking clips (A-roll) and b-roll apart automatically. 3. It removes silences, breaths, filler words and repeated takes, and balances your audio. 4. Open the result in Final Cut Pro: your edited cut in "A-Roll — edited by cutsmart", plus every b-roll clip collected — pre-muted and ready to place — in its own "B-Roll" project. WHAT CUTSMART CLEANS UP • Dead air and awkward pauses — with pacing you control (Loose / Medium / Tight) • Breaths, swallows and mouth clicks between sentences • Filler words ("uh", "um", "äh", "ähm") — never ambiguous words like "like" or "so" • Repeated takes: restart a sentence and the failed take is dropped, the best one stays • Uneven loudness: quiet clips are boosted toward a consistent level, with a built-in safety ceiling BATCH MODE Editing Reels, TikToks or Shorts? Turn on Batch mode and every clip becomes its own pre-cleaned project in your Final Cut library. AN HONEST WORKFLOW cutsmart makes a rough cut, not a finished film.
