Sign in with Apple. You can now sign in with your Apple ID — in the app and on squadcal.net — right beside the email and password sign-in you already use. Nothing changes for your existing password. If you were invited to a squad, the invite link and Sign in with Apple work together, even if you use Hide My Email.

Your saved password now works in the app. If you keep your SquadCal login in a password manager — iCloud Keychain, 1Password, Dashlane — it is now offered inside the app the same way it is on the website, instead of making you go and find it.

Invites that actually arrive. When you invite someone to your squad, SquadCal now emails them the invitation itself — you no longer have to copy a link into your own email. On an iPhone that invitation opens straight into the app, and if they do not have SquadCal yet it offers them the free download first. Also in this release: • You can talk over the assistant in Describe — start answering and it stops speaking and listens. Tapping the mic mid-sentence skips ahead too. • Subscribed calendars bring across everything the league publishes: the field or venue now shows under the address, with uniform, arrival time, cancellations and links kept in the notes. • Month view: multi-day events take a single line, and a Standard / Expanded toggle lets a week grow until everything fits. • Clearer guidance for squad organisers on how squad passwords work.

Voice mode is back, and steadier. A rare crash could close the app during a voice conversation in Describe. The microphone code has been rebuilt so a conversation can start, stop and start again without ever tripping over itself, and the assistant now finishes speaking before it listens. Also in this release: • The keyboard no longer disappears mid-answer if you would rather type than talk — reaching for the text box simply hands the turn over, and keeps whatever the microphone already heard. • Subscribed calendars bring across everything the league publishes. The field or venue now appears under the address where you can see it, and uniform, arrival time, cancellations and links land in the notes. • Month view: multi-day events take a single line, and a new Standard / Expanded toggle lets a week grow until every event fits.

NEW — Talk your events onto the calendar (SquadCal Pro). Tap the Mic button in Tools and just say it: "Boden has a dentist appointment next Wednesday." SquadCal asks any follow-up questions out loud, you answer out loud, and when it reads the event back you just say "save" — hands-free from start to finish. Prefer typing? The Text button keeps the classic Describe. Also in this update: emailed calendar invites show who else was invited, your member-filter choices now follow you across devices, and polish throughout.

See your calendar without a signal. SquadCal now keeps your family's schedule available offline — open the app on a plane, in the mountains, or anywhere with no service and your events are still there. Nearby places come first. Start typing an address or place name for an event and SquadCal now suggests the closest matches first, with the distance beside each one, instead of a business with the same name three states away. Stay signed in. Sessions now last far longer, so you won't be asked to sign in again every few weeks. Also in this update: • Changing an event's time or place now sends the update to guests outside your squad, so their calendar stays correct. • Squads on gifted Pro can now see that their Pro was a gift. • Fixed a bug where some pages wouldn't scroll on a wide screen.

NEW — Email invites straight to your calendar (SquadCal Pro): Give your squad its own email address, like yoursquad@squadcal.net, and add it as a guest on any Google or Outlook calendar invite. The event drops onto your SquadCal — with its reminder, the organizer, and the guest list — and you can Accept, Maybe, or Decline right from the app. Your reply goes back to the sender's calendar automatically, and updates or cancellations follow on their own. You choose who each invite is for, block unwanted senders, and manage your squad's addresses in Settings. Also in this update: a new invite pops up the moment it arrives, plus reliability and polish fixes.
